3-15 from the floor (no more complaining about him not getting enough shots)

More missed dunks than rebounds (3 to2)

    1 Temper tantrum

Several blown defensive assignments (looked like it was him that left Holmes alone for three in the last minute but happened pretty fast)

3rd best player on the floor again. No way Baylor wins without Acy and Jackson playing so well.

His draft stock is falling. Really surprised he stayed considering how weak last year’s draft was.

Yea, I watched the game as well, when he got mad, it was a wrap for him, he came in missed a dunk, next play down missed a jumper, then came right back down missed the alleyoop attempt, caught it and threw the ball right out of bounds.

I don’t know what’s going on with him,but he shouldn’t have came back.

Pierre Jackson is their most solid player to me, he can score and create for everyone night in night out, he turns it over alot, but overall I think he is their best player, can’t wait to see what he does next year when the team will be his 100%.

I finally watched Kabongo for a full game, he is very quick and fast, weight will be a problem but not that much of a problem due to his jets, I think he has the most potential after Teague for PG’s.

He reminds me of Brandon Wright. Tons of hype, but will be a bust in the NBA.

Will not be a bust in the NBA. Things are working out in his advantage. If he is falling he will go to a good team with low expectations. Different skill set than Wright. Until he bust in the NBA I am calling it now. Sleeper in this draft.

Maybe you don’t think he is nice but trash? I will be the first to say you were right if he busts. Like I said different game. Rubio looked like trash too but look how that turned out.

The expectations are way too high for him, and he may be him slotted in the wrong role. I really thought he would come out this year and be the man, but it appears right now he’s more suited as a role player; an athletic four who can shoot the open jumper, make a nice pass, and attack the offensive glass. This could obviously change, as he has the all the potential in the world, but thats what i’ve seen so far in his college career.

you guys are over-reacting…hes a sophomore for christs sake…hes averaging 14 and 7 on 55% shooting…he barely gets the ball and hes not the focal point of the offense for some reason…if he played a role similar to Jared Sullinger hed be averaging above or near his numbers (maybe not rebounds, but more points and less turnovers)

Don’t blame them for their small minded brains who have no insight or ability to projects a players talents to the next level.  Stats don’t mean anything in college when coming into the league.  Most players who lead the NCAA in scoring and rebounding don’t even see the floor in the NBA.  Westbrook didn’t do much in college cuz his skill set was better suited for the NBA.  Rudy Gay didn’t put up great numbers in college but Adam Morrison did and went higher in the draft only for GM’s to learn that length and athleticism work in the NBA better then your ability to produce in college.

Sheldon Williams went 5 because he was a beast in college who had an NBA ready body but he didn’t have NBA athleticism.

Demar Derozan just str8 up succed at USC but you knew he had the tools to succeed in the NBA and he is doing fine now.

Jrue Holiday didn’t look like he had a position in college so players like Jonny Flynn who put up big numbers in college went ahead of him

Bottom Line in the draft isn’t an exact science and this is an NBA draft sight not a the better college player blog.  When you watch games to scout players you don’t look at the box score.  You don’t count how many misses a player has.  You study the players athleticism, his footwork, his moves.  You observe how a player plays and what type of moves he has and if they can translate to the next level.

When you get to the league everything stars at zero again.
