    Couldn’t catch the game, but damn, I though it was a 20 point game with 10 minutes left. Duke escapes with another one.

     Refs give Duke the win over NC State. See if you can watch the final 5 minutes of the game. Duke got away with a few travels as always and a few fouls. But more importantly, little touch fouls were called against NC State. Three players fouled out for NC State, and those three players just so happened to be Leslie, Howell, and CJ Williams. 

     

    It’d be nice to win on your own. If your going to get all the top recruits, you shouldn’t need any extra help from the officials. I just find it hard to believe that Duke gets away with calls on a consistent basis, and yet the refs don’t get fined, suspended, or fired.

    I can’t understand why I respect Coach K so much yet hate Duke so much? I thumbed you up even though I was watching Boston and Chi, now Clips and Blaze. I didnt see a play of that whole game but I’m sure your right anyway. Phuck Duke

     Yeah it was robbery on another level. Only team I know that jacks up 3 after 3 and yet shoots freethrows and gets all ball on all their reach ins all the time. How many times have you seen rivers go in there out of control and get a foul call when duke is struggling. This was one of the worst since the robbery of al thornton fsu team at duke

    State showed that they had little depth in this game. Only played 7 players so of course they’re going to get into foul trouble. And I watched the game too, State made some really stupid fouls down the stretch.

    I hate when people blame the refs. You can’t come back from 20 down with 10 minutes left because of the refs. Did the refs make Scott Wood miss 3 free throws?? Did the refs give Curry and Rivers the balls to hit those daggers to give Duke the lead??

    The fouls were about even 22-21 minus the intentional fouls in the last seconds, this NC State team just showed their immaturity by not being able to hold on to a lead.

     Duke stats are meaningless and yes the refs cheat. The only way you come back from 20 down in 10 minutes is cheating unless you are playing an extremely talented team and everyone knows duke is not that this year. Look at who had the fouls and the stretches to stop the clock where it was one sided. CJ williams was locking rivers up and he went out the game. CJ leslie was a human eraser and he gets called for a foul for clearly pinning rivers to the backboard. The only way someone thinks duke doesn’t cheat is if they are a biased fan. Now I don’t even comment on refs unless it is duke. Look up FSU @ Duke 2006 when the refs were suspended for cheating for duke. It gets no more clear than that.
