That’s a pretty awesome draft class especially since you’re only looking at guards.. I’ll just go top 10 in no particular order if you disagree with the order they’re in…….. If you do agree then they are in a particular order…

    1) Tyreke Evans (has slumped since rookie year but he has the highest ceiling of all of these players IMO, will be a superstar when/if sacramento starts winning)

    2) Stephen Curry (has proved to be just as dynamic in the NBA as he was in college)

    3) James Harden (just waiting for that starting gig.. it’s coming.. and it’ll be epic)

    4) Ricky Rubio (If someone told me the wolves would be above fighting above .500 at this time last year with Rubio being the only addition to the team, I would have slapped you)

    5) Brandon Jennings (has proven to be just the steaky shooter, laser fast PG that was promised.. Will he get any better? I’m skeptical..)

    6) Jrue Holliday (UCLA point guard, enough said)

    7) Ty Lawson (too small for the NBA? nah, the guys a bull)

8a & 8b) Jeff Teague/Darren Collison (have shown that they deserve PT with the big boys)

    9) Gerald Henderson (Starting to really put it together this year with 15 ppg, 46% FG )

    10a & 10b) Marcus Thornton/Jodie Meeks (They can score)

10.99) Demar Derozan (who I watch just hoping he’ll learn how to shoot/dribble/etc)……

    then everyone else…

Shame Jonny Flynns hip exploded on him after a promising rookie year… As a wolves fan I can only imagine if the Wolves had Rubio and Steph Curry right now..

    As of now:

    1.Ricky Rubio-self explainatory….for now.

2.James Harden- If he wasn’t in the shadow of Durant and Westbrook we’d be talking about an all-star caliber player here.

3.Brandon Jennings- Really playing at an high level this year.

4.Tyreke Evans-Possibly has the most talent out of everyone, thought he’d be further along by now, but still young(22) so has alot of time to put it all together.

5.Stephen Curry- Still think playing with Ellis affects him somewhat, could be higher possibly.

    6. Ty Lawson- So badly wanted to put him in the top 5,having a breakout year.

7.Jrue Holiday- Like Tyreke, i thought he would have been just a little bit further along, but Philly is playing real well and it all starts with Holiday.

8.Darren Collison-Good quick heady guard, his playoff performance last year against the Bulls was an eye opener.

9.Jeff Teague-First year starter and still playing somewhat timid solid numbers and should get better with more growth.

10.Marcus Thornton- Putting up numbers for a sorry team, can really score, but isn’t winning.

Now in 5-6 years I think this is how it will play out as most of these guys will be hitting their prime.

    1. James Harden- If he ever is by himself it’s curtains, his numbers are great for a player coming off the bench and in the shadow of 2 superstars.

2.Tyreke Evans- If he can put it all together he will be the best, hopefully it will happen.

    3. Ricky Rubio-Like Rondo if he doesn’t develop a jumper, I think that will hinder him.

4.Stephen Curry- Great 3 point shooter and high basketball IQ will keep him around and in the discussion of good guards for a long time.

5.Jeff Teague-Great athlete, with more time and confidence, he will drop more buckets and rack up assist could be even higher in the next few years.

6.Rodrigue Beaubois- Probably the best athlete on this entire list in terms of speed, quickness, length and leaping ability. Dude can score, rebound and BLOCK shots, Cuban said himself he isn’t tradeable, has a chance as well to be higher in 5-6 years.

7.Brandon Jennings- Tough choice, but his frail body is going to take a beating and I don’t see it holding up,he is smaller than Iverson was, now if he can bulk up it’s a different story. Talented as anyone, his frail frame just scares me a bit.

8.Demar Derozen- If he can expand his game(shooting, dribbling) you have a big time player waiting for you,IF.

9.Jrue Holiday- Solid guard, but I don’t see him being elite in this class.

10.Ty Lawson-Speed Kills, too bad he isn’t 2 inches taller, but that speed and quickness will keep him in the talks for this class as well.

In terms of who I would want on my team

    1. Ricky Rubio-might not be the scorer Curry is but he is still capable and his passing is ridiculous, plus his timing on defense is awesome and his man to man ability is solid too

    2. Stephen Curry-great scorer and shooter, solid passer too, not the defender or playmaker Rubio is

    3. James Harden-He’s a good scorer and he’s also very unselfish, could start for my team anyday

    4. Jrue Holiday-Fanstastic defender who brings an all around game, he can do everything solid

    5. Tyreke Evans-He hasn’t progressed a whole lot since his rookie year and is a little one dimensional but still very dangerous.

    6. Ty Lawson-Great player who is an excellent PG and ultra fast

    7. Brandon Jennings-Has a habit of taking poor shots, but maybe it’s because his team isn’t that good

    8. Jeff Teague-Just edges out Collison because I feel he will still get better

    9. Darron Collison-I feel like he’s reached his ceiling or close to it

    10. Demar DeRozan-A huge fan of him and I think his potential is awesome, just needs to keep working hard

    1 Curry
    2 Jennings
    3 Harden
    4 Evans
    5 Rubio
    6 Holiday
    7 Lawson
    8 Teague
    9 Thornton
    10 Collison

Its kinda hard, I wanted to put Henderson & Beaubois in but ran out of room.
I like a couple some of the guys in Europe but haven’t seen enough. On a side note… Will any of them ever leave for the NBA??

     Great thread:

    1.  Steph Curry-  When healthy Curry does it all, he scores at a high clip, racks up assists and steals, and does all this playing in Ellis’ shadow.

    2. Ricky Rubio-  Wanted to put him first but he still has to start hitting some outside shots.  But Rubio is an amazing PG who plays both sides of the ball well and makes everybody around him better.

    3.  Jrue Holiday- One of the leaders of one of the best teams in the league.  Why I put Holiday above Evans and Harden is because Holiday is the best defender on this list. His defense helps set the stage for the Sixers running game.  He also is a very clutch player who can be depended on late in games.  He plays hard every single night and knows how to win basketball games.

    4.  Brandon Jennings-  The defintion of a baller.  The Bucks are in the playoff hunt despite Bogut going down again and Skiles having no clue how to coach offense solely because of Jennings play.

    5.  James Harden-  A pure scorer who has a knack for making beautiful passes. Must improve defense.

    6.  Tyreke Evans-  Should be higher but he still hasn’t figured out how to steadily contribute to winning games.  Marcus Thornton is seriously hindering his growth too, when Thornton was out Reke was getting over 20 a game.

    7.  Ty Lawson-  Fast and efficient.

    8. Jeff Teague-  His play is surprising me, tho I still think he’s more Lou Williams, then a pure starting PG.  But Joe Johnson’s passing allows him to play more naturall.

    9.  Marcus Thornton-  GUNNER.  But he can score.

    10.  Demar Derozan-  Disapointed in him.  He still doesn’t do anything but shoot or dunk and his shot isn’t even falling this year.

    1. Harden: Love his game, and like everyone else I expect him to be unbelievable when he isn’t in the shadow of Durant and Westbrook

    2. Evans: He’s streaky, but I would still like to have him on my team for his sheer playmaking ability

    3. Rubio: His passing is outstanding, and if he eventually starts scoring consistently he has the potential to be #1 on this list

4.Holiday: Love his defense, not so much about his offense but he’s a good all around player. One of my favorites from the class

    5. Curry: Completely opposite from Holiday. I love his offense but I want to see more defensive improvement.

    6. Lawson: If he was only taller..

    7. Jennings: Athletically gifted young man with natural ability. I would like to see what he could do with somebody that can score

8.Collison: Good, not great player. Gets after it though which will keep him around in the league for quite awhile. Would be a great off the bench option for a good team

    9. Teague: Potential is there but I don’t think he’ll ever be the dynamic guard most see. I just don’t really like his game for some reason

    10. Any number of guys could go here. Meeks/Thornton/Henderson/DeRozan

    1. Tyreke Evans: sometimes so frusturating but also so talented.

2 Ty Lawson: Undersized, but prob the best point of the class (right now)

3 Brandon Jennings: Having a great year. Would look even better if Mil had better players

4 Ricky Rubio: I am caught in the hype… Minny is so bad with him off the court.

5 James Harden: and grown man’s beard and a grown man’s game

6 Steph Curry: Prob get down votes for this… I think his injuries have allowed people from his draft class to develop more than him (still has tons of talent/potential but we’re ranking for right now so..)

7 Marcus Thorton: Can score spot up, of the dribble, or at the rim… a little streaky though

8 Jrue Holiday: I would like to see him dominate games more

9 Jeff Teague: I forgot about you until this year… now look at you!!!

10 Rodrigue Beaubois: Put on here to incite and because of his potential
