UC1000Participant3 of them this decade aren’t in the league(Josh Childress, Dajuan Wagner, and Dermarr Johnson). Wally S. was mediocre. Antoine Walker underachieved. Danilo Gallinari was oft-injured. Sharone Wright from the 90’s right a bell. Could be a curse. Shane Battier has never been an All-Star. Don’t have the stats in front of me off hand but it is a bad number.

DommyVParticipantyour a superstital moron, it just depends on how hard the player wants to work to reach his full potential

until23ParticipantAs a Wiz fan I do remember those superstitious rumors in the ’92 draft but choosing Googs over Walt the Wizard Williams at #6 was one of the best picks they’ve made. If it goes like the mock Derozan could be a bust in the form of Dorell Wright or he could be good. Whoever gets it should just take Earl Clark, I see nothing but upside in that big guy. Soft hands, unselfish, decent jumpship, 6’10” ish, small forward.

henryoh90612Participantchildress went to europe because he is getting paid A LOT.
lot more than a player his caliber could dream of in NBA.
and he was a decent player0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/16/2009 - 10:57am #146126
benshark26Participanti was looking through some old drafts, and surprisingly there were a lot of bad players taken at #6 like you said. but i don’t really think it matters. keep in mind, another player taken at #6 just a couple years ago was brandon roy….and look how he’s doing now….

until23Participanti thought the bulls were going to be to nice when they got Stacey King at #6 in 1989. Stacey won three with the Bulls but it wasn’t cause of him (or was it, LOL).

benshark26Participantya, but last time the twolves picked 6th they got b-roy! and then traded him…..but the point is, we drafted b-roy! maybe this time without mchale we’ll figure out how to keep a good player for once… they also picked wally at #6 and even though he wasn’t amazing, he was a solid player and a fan fav so maybe our wolves will be ok with the 6th pick anyways. i really hope so….
