jojososaParticipantOkay so we kno tha Knicks suck, they have many guys on their roster that r clearly overpaid bums. Free Agency time comes im hearing that that can’t even sign BOTH Nate Robinson, and Mr. Double-Double David Lee they can sign only one of them. Who would u keep? But i think in this draft they abosouletly have to draft James Harden if he is there, Greg Monroe if he is there or lastly Demar Derozan not only would that be a great addition, he would probably pack tha seats if he plays well.

BradfomsParticipantI doubt that Harden is still there when they pick, but if he is, then yes they absolutely need to take him. He’s NBA ready and I think that he is the next safest pick outside of Griffin, and will at the very least be a solid, reliable player.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantSafer than Rubio?

PringlesParticipantKnicks fan…:'(
Here’s my draft board for the top 10:
1 – Blake Griffin
2 – Ricky Rubio
3 – Hasheem Thabeet
4 – Greg Monroe*
5 – Brandon Jennings
6 – Ed Davis*
7 – James Harden
8 – Jordan Hill
9 – Stephen Curry
10- Demar DeRozan* if they come out
I’m really hoping either Monroe or Jennings drops as I think both have star potential.

eprizzle14ParticipantThe Knicks have 3 players I like right now. Wilson Chandler, David Lee, and Nate Robinson, they need to keep this nucleus, without overpaying. I think they already wish they could have taken Gordon or Lopez but hopefully Gallinari pans out. I’m saying there drafting Clark, Derozan or Jennings. Whoever slips

dsalDerozan would be a nice fit in that run and gun style.

joecheck88Participantthey should take johnny flynn, it would be a reach but there would be buzz about him especially after that 6 ot game he had in the garden, not to mention his game changing speed and quickness. but i doubt they want 2 undersized players in their backcourt with nate. so maybe they sign and trade him because i think he is retrcited free agent with lee. they definately keep lee but for no more than 7 mil a year. hes a great role player on a good team. on the knicks he just gets more minutes than he should.

PringlesParticipantDeRozan is a terrible three point shooter. That’s not going to work from the 2 spot in a D’Antoni offense.

NYKnicksuperFanParticipantthis means they will probably get rid of David Lee so they should take a big man, it would be perfect if Jordan Hill falls because his athleticism if not maybe greg monroe who went to the same college as former knick great Pat Ewing, they could also use a SG the current mock has gerald henderson and that would be fine with me, Steph curry and Mullens would be good fits in D’antonis offense but that would be a huge reach to get them with no. 7 maybe they could trade down and grab both, also willie warren would be a great fit in the run n gun if he comes out
Also the knicks could pull off a sign and trade with either lee or robinson plus a bad contract( basically everyone on their team) which could net them additional picks

BartParticipantHarden would be penciled in at starting 2G his bad tournament showing is good for us because he should fall a few spots Nate or Duhon should be traded for Maynor and Lee should be traded for a Big Man, Jordan Hill, Monroe are good choices.

JNixonParticipantThe knicks need a center. I was watching the game against orlando a while back and they played JARED JEFFRIES at center. I forgot all about that guy, they should target a big guy or a 2 guard with size and shooting ability

PringlesParticipantThe Knicks need a center more than any team in the NBA right now (thanks E-City!).
But their roster is so weak from to bottom that they need to take best available player no matter what.

RooeyRacerParticipantGuess what….D’Antoni is a big fan of athletic shooters, and has been in love with Chase Budinger since Chase stepped foot into the UofA program. He was the guy trying to lure Chase out after his freshman year when D’Antoni was in PHX. D’Antoni knows Budinger and his family…..If Harden is gone, D’Antoni will get his guy.

BradfomsParticipantThat’s interesting about D’Antoni and Budinger…makes sense that the only 2 teams he worked out for last year when he “tested the waters” were Phoenix and New York…

BartParticipantHe doesn’t get another pick for 2 years in my book Donnie needs to keep him outta the war room on draft night.

ezmoney707ParticipantNo he wasn’t. Mike D was not even convinced on gallo up till the last week before the draft. Everybody was on board with the pick. It just so happens that the player also fit the style, and was the BPA on their board.

PringlesParticipantYep, ezmoney is right. Even on draft night D’Antoni showed some uneasiness about the Gallo pick:
“I’ll be upset with his Dad if his son (Gallinari) can’t play.”

KiD MaGiC973ParticipantWe need to trade some players and our pick for an experienced center

PringlesParticipantA team as bad as the Knicks can’t afford to trade picks. It’s BPA all they way.
