Hi its BenParticipantHe is a leader of the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels and the only thing I know is what I saw on his ESPN Profile. He’s listed as a 6’8 G-F which is already intriguing to me. Could anybody shine some light on him? Thanks.

llperezhe went to ucla for a year and left after not getting any pt. His teamate mike moser did the same thing, left ucla after not getting pt. Both have developed a lot at unlv it looks. I saw their game vs unc, and stanback was drilling threes and looked very confident.

mikeyvthedonParticipantWas a pretty highly rated recruit out LA’s Fairfax HS (Rated #18 SF by Scout.com) and started off at UCLA. He got really little time as a freshman and decided to transfer to UNLV. Since than, he has been the second banana on a couple pretty decent UNLV squads after Tre’Von Willis. Now that Tre’Von has graduated, Stanback has been the #1 scoring option, followed fairly closely by another UCLA transfer in a slightly similar situation in sophomore Mike Moser.
Chace is coming off of a game where he was benched at the start due to being late for practice, but ended up stroking 9 three pointers and finishing with 29 points in 23 minutes. He also played really well in UNLV’s upset over North Carolina, finishing with 28 points and 10 rebounds. He definitely does not seem like a guard to me and I do not really know why he would be labeled as such. He is a spot up shooter for the most part and does not really tend to create much for himself. Overall, I would not be too high on him as a NBA prospect at this point, but he has had some really nice games this season and UNLV is definitely a fun team to watch.

JNixonParticipantHe got nice size at 6’7 205-210 and he’s a solid spot up shooter. He’s also a pretty good passer and athlete. He’s the same kind of player Tyler Honeycutt was for UCLA, maybe not quite as confident a passer but something like that.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantI really wish UNLV were on TV. Most dangerous mid-major out there. They create a lot of mismatch problems with their versatility. Their 4 best players — Moser, Stanback, Marshall, and Bellfield — are all multi-positional.
