Paul open to Magic/Clippers

 I can’t really think of a deal that doesn’t involve Eric Gordon. It’s probably just my tired brain though.

How about Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and Eric Bledsoe for Paul…. Enough? (salaries match)

Add in maybe Travis Leslie or Trey Thompkins, and Minnesota 2012 pick. Considering the Hornets dont make the playoffs this year, they’ll have a lottery pick also. Probably a combination of a foward, and a PG.

What trade pieces do the Magic have that the Hornets would actually want to take back?

As I’ve been saying since like last season, the Clippers can offer the best trade when it comes to attaining Paul or Howard.

If I were the GM i would want much more in return for Chris Paul. Atleast 1 player should have potential all star ability and be quite young as well. Kaman is getting older, Al Farouq is young, has ability but hasnt really shown me all star potential quite yet and bledsoe imo doesnt have that all star potential I’d be looking for. Therefore, i wouldnt accept anything less than a deal involving Eric Gordon because he is young, athletic, already a great player on both sides of the ball, and very well could be an allstar in the near future.

The Hornets don’t really have any leverage. Chris Paul is going to walk away regardless. IF they want something back for Paul, they’ll have to accept the best offer that’s on the table.

 Kaman, Williams, Bledsoe, Aminu, Wolves pick, Cash for Paul and Ariza. Sounds great to me. That would give them a starting lineup up Paul, Gordon, Ariza, Griffin, and Jordan….. instant contenders.

Or Kaman/Williams, Aminu, Bledsoe, Wolves pick, cash for just Paul. Can then trade Kaman for a small forward. Lots of options

 i posted this same trade a couple of days ago with the hornets  and clippers and eveyone was saing its a bad deal and that it would never happen because the hornets was receiving alot of role players, but know since its been reported everyone thinks its a good trade smh.

I’ve been preaching Paul to the Clippers.  The Clippers have enough pieces to offer the Hornets, and a trio of Paul/Gordon/Griffin would be dangerous.  Paul is a perfect fit for the Clippers.

If the Clippers can pull off trevor Ariza in the trade it makes them a scary team. They may not be very deep on their bench afterwards but they would have to pull the trigger on a Paul deal if they can get it.

Don’t be surprised if the Clippers don’t add Paul or Howard.

They’re trying to follow the OKC blueprint, according to Neil Olshey. Either that or Sterling is just being cheap again. However, I do like what Olshey has been preaching. He thinks the Clippers are good enough to make the playoffs this season and wants to continue to build around Griffin and Gordon. Re-signing Jordan and getting Gordon extended are top priorities. By adding the right components, he expects them to be able to compete for a championship in the next few seasons (championship and Clippers don’t go together, but just saying). He’s trying to change the culture of the Clippers, which will be tough as long as Sterling is still around. He might want to think about firing Vinny too lol.

So I wouldn’t be surprised if they just added a veteran small forward (Shane Battier, Caron Butler, Tayshaun Prince, etc) this season to give stability to that position.
