WrecklessParticipantI keep reading in articles and even posts on this forum that New Jersey will offer Orlando two future first round picks. My question is does anybody know if the rule “You can’t trade your 1st round pick two years in a row” thing still in place in this new deal? Has anyone heard of it. Because if not, then a Dwight Howard trade to New Jersey becomes a little less interesting imo.

aamir543Participant^Yes it is, I didn’t hear about before the whole Carmelo saga last year. And I don’t think either team can trade more than one pick in the next 5 years, cuase I don’t remember exactly, but didn’t both the Knicks and Nets shell out some picks in puruit of D Will and Melo.
But I guess people are just trying o make talk. But even then, a team with Dwight and D Will wouldn’t give you a pick sooner than 20.
