    This shit about Rudy Gay being traded has to stop..  How in hell do you justify trading him?? 

    Look..

    The Grizz looked dominate with this lineup…

    Conley, Allen, Battier, Randolph, Gasol, Mayo

    They were dominate at times!!!  DOMINATE!!  How do you push a team like this to the next level??? Add another solid player, right??

    Well how about adding a freaking stud?? Huh?? Also, you dont have to do shit.. He comes at no loss to your team.. You dont lose any starters or even picks..

    So you take a feaking awesome team, add 20 points per game, 5 rebounds, 3 assist, a block and a steal..  Also, this player plays the spot on your team that you are the weakest..  The spot that you have the least amout of depth. 

    That has to make them an immediate favorite for the conference finals in the West…

    So tell me something, how do you justify trading him?? To fill a need?? This team has 1 need and that is a scorer to take presssure off of Randolph. Also, they need a SF who is more than a corner jump shot on offense.. Oh, they also need another long defender.. Well hell, that is Rudy Gay in a nut shell…..

    You have to forgive those bandwagon jumpers,they only live for the moment..

    1.Remember after the World Championship Games, that Durant dominated,folks were all over his jock..Saying he was the nba’s best player?

    2After the Mavs won the title this year, people were saying Dirk was the nba’s best player..

    3.2 week ago after Jeremy Lamb got off to that great start folks were comparing him to Jordan? Then those same said he was overrated after he didnt take over in that upset lost….And of those same folks were saying Drummond was a Flop? Now they’re saying he’s the best big man in the Big East since Ewing…

    Even though i live in Florida,i’m a Memphis season ticket holder and sometimes travel as far as Portland,New York or Cali to see them play..They did have a great season after Gay got injured..But that doesnt mean they dont need him..Memphis struggles to score at times, even with Rudy on the floor….They lack reliable outside shooting and team often go to zone on them becuz of it..But having Rudy makes things easier for their big men ,becuz of his good perimeter game…

    WAtching Memphis the past few years..They really need more outside shooting,a backup point guard and a shot blocking, defensive minded, young athletic center….

    Memphis isn’t going to trade Gay and they never were going to. All the rumors were made up from fans of different teams and the media because the Grizzlies played well without him in the playoffs.

    SF- Rudy Gay / Sam Young

    PF- Zach Randolph / Darrell Arthur / Leon Powe

    C- Marc Gasol / Hamed Haddadi

    they wont resign battier, and i dont think ishmael smith will make the team, they could use a veteran backup center who can give you 12 minutes per game..but other than that, this team is easily top 4 in the west

    Hey BDiddy this is a basketball site,not some Dr. Smartypants site on how to write words really good…Im probably better at doing Ebay than you,but you dont see me breaking your door down at 3 in the morning,dragging you out of bed and showing how bad ass i am at Ebay…

    Defence and team work win you playoff games.  Its no surprise when they brought in tony allen and shane battier they did better than when they had gay in the lineup and oj mayo starting.

    Allen and Battier aren’t interested in scoring 20ppg, they play good team ball, hard defense and unselfish enough to make that extra pass. Its about the little things that help your team win, not how many points you can score…

    I am not saying to trade Gay, i just hope he can learn one or two things from battier.

    Lets hope they can keep the momentum from last season and shake things up in the West 🙂 I love a bit of new blood, how many yrs have we seen lakers and spurs in the playoffs…
