lalailaParticipantWhy no body is talking about him anymore? It’s strange that this guy came from Drummond’s rivalry to someone who is under McGary Adams Ashley and others…what happened?

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantHe’s skinny and can’t play in the post. His height, skill level is still remarkable but with his frail body and the fact that he’s weak and unassertive down low which means that guys like McGary and Adams have surpassed him.

Anton123ParticipantI think he was 7 ft being a high school freshman or something, everyone expected him to become giant and he kinda didn’t. Now he looks like a slightly taller and slightly slower and less athletic John Henson

WizardofOzParticipantA lot of people were talking about him last year, but his develiopment seems to have stagnated. He hasnt gotten any stronger since he was a FR, and he still has no back-to-the-basket game.

hiphopismylifeParticipantAustin has always been the kind of guy whose skill package looks great in a highlight reel, but doesn’t apply as well to playing consistently well over a full game. He’s got a handle and smooth shot for his size, but I don’t know that he’s a guy who’ll produce that highly as a freshman. But his unique skills make him a guy to keep an eye on going forward. He’d really benefit from having to stick around school a few years.

lalailaParticipanti have actually heard he is already 7’1 and a bit stronger, has really really nice shot and handles and everyone agrees he is the best shot blocker in the class..isn’t it what we call potential?
i agree he might not be on the level of Drummond like some people thought couple years ago but it’s still strange that from Dirk’s and similar comparison he became into a guy who people think won’t be in the nba

rileymcshea3ParticipantNo see he lives in Mansfield Texas (which is where I lived ) and went to the highscholl called Legacy highschool and was like 6’10 and on varsity but wasnt really a difference maker in the game and didnt like the coach so he switched to Graceprep which is a highly talented basketball school and now is at the top of the ranks of his class

mikeyvthedonParticipantIt is not that he will not be a NBA player, he more than likely will be. Still, he may not be one and done, plus the Dirk Nowitzki comparisons seem pretty far out there. Regardless of how tall he is, when he has faced bigger centers, he tends to have a tough time keeping them out of the paint. He can block shots, but he has very little semblance of a post game and is just incredibly skinny. Of course he has potential, but you would like to see him produce some more results against solid competition. He plays with Aaron and Andrew Harrison, who seem to be the goods, but I have just heard he has a long way to go and a lot to work on. He is incredibly highly ranked by most HS Scouting sites, but he more than likely will not take Baylor by storm. Seems like Austin may be a ways away from the physicality of the NBA. He may make it, but it is hard to project how impactful he will be once he is there.

paradigmnParticipantIsaiah def needs to put on weight…and…get that "killer instinct".
I agree with everyone’s assessement of Isaiah…real quick though Mikey…The Harrison Twins play their high school ball for Travis High in Houston and Isaiah plays at Grace Prep with Emanuel Mudiay…unless you were saying the Harrison Twins are the type of competition he faces.

ilike.panochasParticipantHis game reminds me of Charlie Villanueva. If he can figure out how to put on some weight and develop so low post, he could possibly be better than what Villanueva is now.

WrecklessParticipantThe guy has not gained weight at all. The handles of a SG, The size of a C, and the body of a PG. He has talent but he’ll need more than that at the college level
