    I think this is a good read and good analysis on how the NBA got this lockout going.

    The owners put out a "reasonable" deal, but they didn’t know how to pitch it to the players without hurting those spoiled brats.

    The NBPA (Hunter/Fisher) was very unorganized and didn’t do a good job to get the players involved.

    The agents just want to find the best deals for them because the proposed CBA would have taken away a lot of negiotiation power from them.

    The lawyer just wanted a "cold war" so that they can profit from the lawsuit.

    The players didn’t know enough to make inform decisions.

    I agree to what Bill Simmons said.
