    My conclusions to date are

Harrison Barnes reverts to a slow start, it’s scary to think how it will be when on fire.

Kendall Marshall has 15 ass ists, everyone says it is very good passer but so far only done better to Tyler Zeller, 85% of their Assistants are Zeller.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is the most underrated player in the country, he is the favorite of the coach and NBA also will be, does everything and does it well.

Tony Wroten Jr is very similar to Tyreke Evans, both in statistics and in shooting percentages.

Myck Kabongo is Rajon Rondo 2.0.

Jeremy Lamb fear, but sometimes disappears in the matches, 14 points in the first quarter against Wagner and 6 points in the last5 minutes, played the entire game.

Jared Sullinger feels like David Lee in his last season in New York, no one reproached the shots he throw, are triple midrange shots or midfield, is a blessing for Ohio State that Jared Sulling this back for a second season.

Andre Drummond, unfortunately for all, was not prepared to give your leap to college, but may give a surprise and improve, look atHarrison Barnes last year.

    James McAdoo deserves more minutes.

Adonis Thomas, a minimum 3 years in Memphis to effectively contribute in the NBA.

Quincy Miller not seems to have emerged from a lesion of an entire year, he looks very good on the court.

I disagree that it’ll take Adonis Thomas a minimum three years. He was impressive after a slow start against Belmont and keeping in mind the biggest jump comes between freshman and sophomore years the maximum he’ll need to be there is two years in my opinon.

Adonis struggled in the first half, but I thought he played pretty good in the 2nd half for his first game. He doesn’t really need to be dominate as a freshmen since Memphis has guys like Jackson, Barton, Witherspoon, and Black. He is probably a two year type of player, but if he were to come out this year I would take him in the first round based on potential.

    • Harrison has done just fine in his first couple games. He struggled last year, but he averaged 19.9 ppg over his last 17 games. He had 17 in both their first couple of games and I really do not think he will need to average a crazy amount of points. If he averages over 20, I would be surprised, as UNC has a lot of returning fire power, not to mention their depth.
    • Where did you get that Marshall statistic from? Am incredibly skeptical of it. Marshall is a great passer, and he was a major reason as to why Harrison Barnes had a great end of the year. Harrison has a difficult time creating his own shot, so Marshall is fairly instrumental. Also, seeing that Zeller made 8 FG’s (when divided by 15, that makes a little less than 85%), than stat is pretty much pulled straight out of your @ss. Funny, nonetheless.
    • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is a very solid player, but, MOST underrated in the country? He did a number of things really well, but he gets a lot of credit for doing so. I am a huge Mike Kidd-Gilchrist fan, but he is a highly regarded draft prospect who is thought to be a crucial part of a team ranked 2nd in the nation. Is that really underrated?
    • Tyreke Evans shot 45.5% as a NCAA freshman. Tony Wroten is at 41.2% and 36.4% from the line. I think that Reke was much further along and quite a bit stronger. Wroten is a solid All-Around player, but I think Tyreke was a more explosive freshman year 1 at Memphis as compared to Wroten at UW.
    • Not the worst comparison for Kabongo, but judging by his early shooting percentages (31.3% FG, 20% 3 PT, though through only two games), he is certainly showing why people might want to go under the pick. I like Myck a lot, and he has put up nice All-Around numbers, but does he have Rajon’s monstrous arms? Don’t think he does. Still one of my favorite PG prospects, but calling him the next Rondo is an unfair expectation.
    • Jeremy Lamb is a great scorer, but college has halves, not quarters. I think that UConn is still trying to find a rhythm and were trying to get their big men more involved. Either way, think he is doing just fine.
    • David Lee his last season in New York? I mean, I guess as a NBA comparison, that is not horrible. But, he is a killer at the college level, David Lee his last year in New York certainly had a number of his shots reproached as New York missed the Play-offs. So, if you are comparing Sullinger to a guy putting up big numbers on a losing team, seems like their could be better comparisons at the college level.
    • Drummond had a poor first game, but it looks like the mask is really bothering him. Either way, my expectations were tempered, but I do not think this guy is going to stay down for long. It is two games and while I see a Barnes-worthy late season improvement, he deserves a little more chance before he is called flat out not ready. He is going to be hard for people to stop.
    • James Michael McAdoo plays in a front court with 3 returning 2nd Team All-ACC players. He will probably get more minutes as the season goes on, but their are only so many to go around when you have three supremely talented upperclassmen in front of you.
    • This is probably one of your better ones, but Adonis Thomas will probably be gone before three years. I do not see him as a one and done guy, but he very well could be. He is pretty athletic and has some bulk to him, but if he wants to EFFECTIVELY (keyword) contribute, it might take him 3 years. Maybe even more, not necessarily at Memphis. If he is going to be a good player, he will become one, whether he spends one, two or three years at Memphis. But, he shows flashes of being a potential first round pick.
    • Quincy Miller was hurt, is now back and playing well. Think that Miller has some big time potential as a NBA wing prospect, like him as one of the top prospects in this draft. Not to mention, I feel he might be Baylor’s #1 offensive option over Perry Jones.

I agree with what you said, and it will be intersting to see whether opponents key in on the Marshall to Zeller combo, cause 85% of 15 is just ridiculous, and after reading what Mikey wrote, I doubt it’s true, but if he even assisted on 6 of those 8, that’s 40% percent of his assists going to Zeller, on a team with Barnes and McAdoo.

On a sidenote, your grammar is just absolutely awful. I don’t know whether it’s carlessness, or if English is a second language, but please try to make it a bit easier to read.

^^Go easy aamir. English is his second language, and it’s clear he’s been making an effort to improve on it. When he first started posting, his grammar was just TERRIBLE, but it’s actually improved quite a bit.

Mikey was pretty much on point. Plus MKG didn’t look all that great in the Kansas game so it’s hard to imagine him being the most underrated player in the country, even if I still thinkly he is pretty underrated in general.

did they change how Assists are counted?  I ask because Marshall gave the ball to Zeller on a simple pass while Zeller posted up and Zeller took a dribble made a move and scored. He did that about 5 times the last game and Marshall as credited with a assist each time.

Interesting points but I don’t agree with some of your conclusions:

Kendall Marshall has 15 ass ists, everyone says it is very good passer but so far only done better to Tyler Zeller, 85% of their Assistants are Zeller.

Marshall is a very good passer, yes so far in the season Zeller has been scoring the lions share of baskets off Marshall passes but anyone who has watched Marshall play will tell you the his instincts, ability to see over the defense, court awareness and flair for the flashy pass all make him one of the best if not the best passer in the country.

Tony Wroten Jr is very similar to Tyreke Evans, both in statistics and in shooting percentages.

So far in the season I would have to say that Wroten plays a little more out of control than Reke and has more trouble finishing around the basket. In his defense I would say that Wroten shows more of a pass-first mentality and seems like a better fit at PG for the next level unlike Reke who is more of SG who needs the ball in his hands.

Jared Sullinger feels like David Lee in his last season in New York, no one reproached the shots he throw, are triple midrange shots or midfield, is a blessing for Ohio State that Jared Sulling this back for a second season.

I would say that Sullinger isn’t shooting enough actually. Buford and Thomas (and even Craft) seem to have been given the green light to shoot and they aren’t using Sullinger as often as they should. I know it’s early in the college year but so far Sullingers 15 field goal attempts are far lower than Buford’s 25, lower than Thomas’ 17 and are barely more than Craft’s 14. He’s averaging just 7.5 FGA per game in 32 MPG, whereas last year he averaged 11.1 FGA per game in the same amount of time. I feel like the Buckeyes should be making Sullinger the focus of their offensive gameplan and he should be more demanding about the ball. Hopefully that will change over the course of the year.

Andre Drummond, unfortunately for all, was not prepared to give your leap to college, but may give a surprise and improve, look atHarrison Barnes last year.

Not prepared to make the leap to college? I don’t see how you can say that after two games. He showed marked improvement from his first to his second game and is flashing the potential that scouts saw in him. Keep in mind that he had his nose broken and suffered a concussion less than three weeks ago, also remember that UConn isn’t in a position where they need to get him major minutes from the get go. They can ease him into a major role with the team over the course of the entire season. No it doesn’t look like he’ll be able to dominate college ball from day one (like some thought he would) but how many big men actually do? I’m very confident that by the end of the season his numbers will put him near the top of the Big East bigs.

Adonis Thomas, a minimum 3 years in Memphis to effectively contribute in the NBA.

Why do you say that? Everything I’ve read suggests that he’s improving at a rapid pace and was quite productive in his last game for Memphis despite being stuck behind two NBA prospects in Witherspoon and Barton. I agree that he is best served coming back for another year after this one but I could definitly see him being a legitimate All-American canidate in 2012-2013 and a high lottery pick in the 2013 draft.
