Triche is an outstanding shooter..Can create for himself..But  not very wise when it comes to making plays for others..Often gets caught up in the moment and can get trigger happy..Not a very good athlete, but is smart enuff to know what he can and can not do on the floor…..He’s not athletic or long enuff to be a shooting guard at the next level…I dont see him getting drafted..He’s more of a Euro player..But a team might give him a tryout becuz of his shooting….

He’s stuck between positions, even though he plays more like a SG than a point. He’s 6’3 or 6’4 and he has a well-built frame, but he’s not a great athlete and he’s not quite aggressive enough as a scorer to really be one of those undersized scorers at the NBA level. He’s a nice shooter, especially with his feet set, but he’s not all that great a shot creator and he’s prone to stretches of shooting slumps. He plays at his own pace, but he sometimes struggles to get clean looks because he’s not quick. I think that’s his main problem projecting him to the pros, he rarely is able to get a clean step on his man so he would struggle to score. I don’t see him getting drafted.

He has two more seasons to show what he can do, but unless he magically develops some point guard abilities and shows he can effectively run a team, he will likely not get drafted at all. Also, while he is a good shooter, Triche is not a good enough shooter to be a 3-point specialist or an instant offense type at the next level. Scoop Jardine will again be the starting point guard this season so Triche likely will not average any more assists than he did last season. He might even see a reduced scoring role with Michael Carter Williams and Rakeem Christmas coming in along with the return of Kris Joseph.

I think he can blossom by his senior year. The problems to me are, he never puts bad plays or missed shots behind him. Ive seen too many games where he starts off bad and ends worst, only to see him on the bench during the game with a sour face or a perplex look, rarely does he work through or put his bad plays behind him especially against teams you know he should be putting in work on. More importantly he need to be way more assertive in all phases he gets too tentative. At this point in his career he should not be a deer in the head light player, however, not all players grow at the same pace. Who know he could be one of this players that can’t bring practice to the real game, or maybe hes yet to fully develop. I think its the latter these problems are more than correctable, he has the green light and surrounded by even more talent and even better the freshmen and now sophomores.
