Charlie SheenParticipantHonestly I am so much more interested in football for many many many reasons
1. The games are always amp the crowds really get me into the game see. Dallas vs New York Opening Night
2. Its about a team and not solely focus on 1 player I mean QB is the "Main Guy" but so much more goes into it
3. Longevity, they give coaches, well most owners, give coaches 3-5 years to build a winner and I feel like that helps not only the growth of the team but the orginazation where you can find an identity and build that way its a lot better than just trading for this guy and that guy instead of letting young guys play and develop and building from within. I swear if most professional teams were like Thunder and Packers sports would be so much better

apb540ParticipantYou have an opinion….Good for you i guess?
I’m a sports fan so to me Baseball=Basketball=Football. I love all three, especially all my Philly teams. I just happen to be a big fan of this website cuz I favor the NBA draft over the other two (I still love and follow the NFL draft. Baseball is too hard.)

WizardofOzParticipantThis is just my opinion but I think basketball is the best sport to watch.
Basketball is the most exciting sport to watvh IMO. There’s constant movement, more exciting plays, and there’s always energy. The constant stops in football just take some of the momentum away, but that’s just the way the sport is.
When I’m not watching my Skins play, I find it hard to watch a whole football game. I can’t say the same about a basketball game. I like watching football too, but basketball is just more exciting IMO.
Baseball is boring as HELL.
Just my opinion though.

Johnny ChillBut football is the best sport to watch throughout the year.
Basketball season is too long, games only gets interesting in the last 5 minutes of a game.
Baseball should be shown on LifeTime, so nobody has to see it while flipping through the channels.

HaleParticipant@WizardofOz I’m deeply offended…(jk)
Anyways I like football better in football season and basketball better in basketball season. At this point I would just like to get a basketball season too. Baseball bores the f*ck out of me.

jeff416ParticipantI like both basketball and football, but basketball is my favorite. I find basketball more exciting to watch because of the up and down tempo, and because of how one player can takeover a game. I guess the main reason I like basketball more though, is because I actually have a team I root for in both College and NBA.

Malik-UniversalParticipantone of the things i love about bball is how one guy can absoulutley take over an entire game

Charlie SheenParticipantdont get me wrong I love the game my thing is I love the aspect of what goes into 1 game of football I love scouting players for my team when draft time comes around I love when FA and we get the piece we needed so bad.
So much goes into a football season where as a fan you can talk all week about various topics.
As a player though ball is my everything my main sport I love gettin on a court and just going blank and zoning out everything and playing my ass off
Lastly as a fan though I just hate that players run the league rather than teams its all about LeBron, Kobe, Melo and Wade and not like football where its about the Packers, Patriots, Jets, Ravens, Steelers, 49ers, Lions, Saints, etc…..

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI played both Football and Basketball in high school and basketball is my favourite sport for the following reasons:
Football is too much start and go. There is so much down time in between plays and in between possessions. In Bball you’re always going hard for 30+ minutes a game if you’re a good player.
Football is too specialized; you’re either a runner or a reciever, passer, tackler, pass rusher, kicker, blocker, defender (i.e pass defender). Few players get chance to do more than a couple of those things during one game on the field. Basketball you get to do everything; handle the ball, pass, shoot, rebound, defend, set picks, block shots etc.
I always felt the camraderie was more intense with every basketball team I played for. My football team in HS had 60 other players, by basketball team had 11 other guys. The basketball teams I played on while growing up were always tighter and cared more about each other.
Now obviously that’s just my opinion but those are my reasons and that’s why my favorite sports to play will always be basketball and football. In that order.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIm sure some of yall are going to think I am crazy but try watching some Volleyball.. Not beach volleyball but mens college volleyball.. It is intense, fast paced, and exciting.. You needs some knowledge of the rules but it is much faster than basketball or football.. I love to catch it on ESPNU or some of those SEC or ACC channels…
However, my favorite sport has always been and will always be basketball……
