 I don’t know how Vick played today, but I think that you guys made a mistake giving Vick that contract. You guys are gonna be in cap hell in a few years.

Than you predicting Mark Sanchez was going to lead the league in passing, Suh in sacks and Von Miller in tackles. With Mike Vick winning MVP and the Redskins finishing with the worst record in the league. Tyga, dude, I know things are slow, and that we love hearing Scarecrows rants, but could you possibly post this in the "Off-Topic" section? I love football, but this is a basketball board. I know not as many people see the "Off-Topic" section and that things are slow, but it is getting out of control. Use the main board for basketball, and I am sure board regulars will be happy to joke about Scarecrow wanting to trade every Eagle that screws a single game up on there, whereas we should leave the main board to talk about his criticizing every 76er that screws up.

@ WizardofOz: He got it off Scarecrows facebook statuses. I am friends with him as well, and I am guessing he doesn’t mind, but I still think this board should stay basketball related and we have other boards to post stuff like this on. I have felt that way about AnyGivenSundays as well, and I personally am down to talk football, but this board should stay basketball, it has been talked about before.

How am I judging anything? Do you disagree? Please, give me some input, I have asked you for some, but you refuse to do anything except claim I am judging and say I am on a high horse, which you apparently seem to think is one word. Sorry for judging your spelling.

 My question to Andy Reid is why is one of the leagues best back only hetting 9 carries?

Casey Matthews is the man, he just should not be starting in the middle as a rookie. Genuinely a poor idea, really surprised the Eagles did not try to address that with some sort of acquisition. Their run defense has been incredibly poor, and Casey should not be starting, but I do not think you can blame a 4th round rookie for being the best player they have at ILB. How did they do today when he was on the bench? Even worse! He is not Clay, but this guy anchored our defense for 3 years at U of O. He should not be starting as a rookie, but he is a gamer. He definitely is better than what you have relegated him to not doing, lol.

My Niners beat yall Eagles!!!!!!

I was at my AAU tourney today, and we played two games, one at 11, and another at 1. During our hour break, all of us were in the lobby wathcing the Niners-Eagles game, and my man Alex Smith is growing up! We came back from 23-3, and won.

But Vick played very well, Jackson got 178 yards, but McCoy got just 18 yards on 9 carries.

Now I don’t mean to brag, as I will admit that the Niners have many flaws, and got lucky, but the Eagles need to fix their D. I don’t want to get too excited about my Niners, and get let down again, but I hope we keep winning.

As for the Eagles, they’ll hit their stride soon. They have some must-win games, but I think they’ll be fine as long as their secondary tackles better, and Vick stays healthy.

BUT one way im looking at it is that now that we have some more doubters, I hope that lights that fire they need. I still believe in them and they tend to always perform well when no one believes in them. You should read some of the comments on my FB. "Eagles season is officially over!" "What a waste of money!" "Eagles should bench Vick" … GIVE ME A BREAK! gosh, ride or die with your team, don’t jump on and off the wagon… sorry, but I had to vent about that… Next week I hope is better 🙂

The wost part is some guy, I can’t remember who, came on a San Francisco radio station, and said that there was no way that the Niners were going ot win, saying he would ride a ride a bike from Philly to the Bay if the Niners won, and finished by saying "It’s the Niners!" 

stay clear of those my friends…But back on topic …The Title of this post is a Little Too Much…I wasn’t fearded Dead, I didn’t lose my life in a knee jerk reactionary status update on my assbook…but I Am Back my brothers and sisters(hopefully, still no girls after all these years, wtf…) And I will always tell it how I SEE IT…its’ not a matter of being right, or wrong, being on a high horse or the white horse, I just speak from the heart and think very little of the overall reaction…In refernce to The Eagles and NFL " I have been the # 1 supporter of my Team during any time, good or bad. When the moves where made this offseason I saw this coming, sure a Back Up QB, RB, WR are nice additions to an already deadly(Vince Young,Ronnie Brown and Steve Smith) Sure the Biggest name in a down Free Agent year is sweet and looks great in the headlines(and coming off a Lock Out) Sure Resigning Vick is a Huge Step towards showing the NFL "We The Eagles" are spending $$$ and going ALL IN…Sure Babin and Cole are two great pass rushers and we have 3 solid DT’s(Jenkins,Patterson and Laws) but we have NO LB’s,Safeties or Corner Backs for that matter(Samuels has been a team tackling cancer since he arrived in the 215) Asomugha has been very underwhelming and down right BAD, Dominiq Rodgers Cromartie has been a No show and I was the highest on his Impact going In this season…Our LB’s and Safety play has truely Killed us along with the piss poor fundementals of the game of football…We have 5 defensive players in my eyes (Babin,Cole,Laws,Jenkins and Patterson) The rest of our players our not even worth putting in the game at this point…The LB’s are not making the hits against the run game, The Safeties are soft as a baby’s ass cheek and Our Corners are too busy watching the QB looking for highlight INT’s as opposed to playing defense and tackling their assignment…It’s been amplified by how our high wire offense is built around 3 players who are Very Amazing Players in Video Games and for 3 to 5 big plays every game but when the chips are down they are not there…1. Vick Who I was huge fan of when he was brought in to replace McNabb, is a living and breathing highlight reel but he’s just not built to last sadly..I ohhhhh and ahhhh at every move yet cringe at the site of the end result…Vick had one of his greatest performances ever in a Lose, he’s 1-3 to start his almost destined Super Bowl season having been knocked out of the game, beat to holy hell by the monsters of the midway and in the media for being any thing then perfect …2. Desean Jackson is another marvelous talent that MUST GO!!! He is gifted beyond all belief but when the game counts the most he is not who you see being passed the Ball is it Philly or NFL fans…Maclin and Avant are the go to guys when the chips are down, not Desesan who’s been shut out of key rivalry games and post season play…Add in the fact that this guy is the ultimate Hot Dog, the biggest "Me" player in the NFL, a guy who is vastly underpaid yet grossly overrated, he’s not worth the price he’ll likely place on himself when he becomes a Free Agent, anyone close to situation can see that he’s the biggest poster child of the "More Sizzle than Steak" athlete of the new era, he’s very gifted but he’ll always fall short of true greatness because he lacks the true charactor it takes to accept his role as playmaker/decoy/dynamic weapon, he’ll always want to be the star and center of attention…3 Jeremy Maclin Point blank Maclin has been the one who’s literally dropped the ball in 2 key loses(@ the Falcons and Vs. The 49’s) he was in place to just make the simple play both times, things he should be used to doing by now, catch the ball and get out bounds when the game is on the line…he failed to catch the ball in Atlanta and was stripped of the ball and his dignity at home versus San Francisco…he’s being paid to catch the ball and know what to do after that, if he cant catch the ball and go down afterward, why keep him,??? we have needs that must be filled and the 2 WR have to go…Give me Defense and a complimentary RB for McCoy(My dream choice Darren McFadden)  

I totally feel this will end in a story book ending for Vick this season…

Has been pretty awful to own as a fantasy GM. Teams aren’t kicking to DeSean, so no fantasy points there, plus their pass rush is not the explosion it used to be. Why the hell does Brandon Graham have to be on the PUP list? That guy is a difference maker in the pass rush, big time. Truthfully, I believe that DeSean Jackson is slightly overrated as a receiver, but I also think his speed is world class. I think that no receiver is more difficult to stop in space. 

See, while Darren McFadden would be all well and good, he is going to demand mega bucks. Plus, he is incredibly similar to LeSean McCoy. I thought that Ronnie Brown might be a different look, but he has done nothing exciting whatsoever. They need to use their speed much more, they did last year. Also, I would want a grinding RB. You need a thunder to the lightning, someone like Brandon Jacobs. McCoy should have way more carries on the norm, but he is not a really big, grinding back. Reid never seems to get the big guy to gain the short yards or switch things up, and I think that is a mistake. Was with Westbrook, seems to be with McCoy as well.
