natedogggParticipantCan only mean good things for them. Moving to such a big market with an owner willing to spend and support his team. If they can resign DWill and bring in other talent itll be great.

NCarmean18ParticipantWith Deron Williams they have a better team already than what they started the season with last season. He is a top 5 point guard, and in my opinion he is a top 3. He was the MAIN reason Utah has had success ever since he arrived their in the draft. Drafting Jujuan Johnson and trading him for Marshon Brooks was a smart move. Marshon Brooks is a very good 2 guard who I think can have a good impact in the NBA. He’s a great scorer, tends to play solid defense, and always gives the effort you ask for. If he was a point guard I’d compare him to a Jimmer Fredette who can score better around the rim, play much better defense, and is just a great spark plug to have on that team. Then, Brook Lopez. Lopez is a HUGE center with tons of potential. He is a pretty good scorer for his height but he apparently lacks the ability to rebound the ball, even though he is 7 foot tall. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe he put up about 6 rebounds a game last year? That isn’t going to cut it in the NBA as a 7 foot center. He needs to average close to a double double every game is this Nets team wants to progress anymore. Having these 3 guys is pivital for this team, and they should build around those three players. Sure they have other good role players, but they need legitimate starters at the 3 and the 4. I don’t believe Damion James and Kris Humphries are the answer in my opinion. We will see as time progresses but I think the Nets will have a semi-decent team this year if the lockout can end and they can fill the holes at the 3 and the 4. Opinions?
