paradigmnParticipantFor all you Kansas Jayhawk fans out there….this should make your day.
Basically the who’s who of past and present Jay-Hawks balling inside the Allen Field House.
Some decent highlights…even though I am not the biggest Kansas fan, it was cool to see all of them on the floor together having fun….The end of the game was straight….Pierce thought he hit the game winner….he and the crowd when nuts…but…there was like 2 seconds left on the clock, so….Chalmers took the inbounds pass and drained it for the win….Crowd went super nuts this time.
Some Notable Players Are: Paul Pierce, Morris Twins, Mario Chalmers, Josh Selby, Nick Collison, Scott Pollard (lol), Greg Ostertag (yes, he’s still alive people)…I don’t think I saw Kirk Hinrich or Rex Walters(look him up youngins)….but…..for a split second….I think I saw Chamberlain…lol…."Rock Chalk Jayhawk"

Cardinal_FanParticipantThey should just call it an alumni game. I thinks its a lil disrespectful to have these guys mentioned in along with the truly outstanding players of this historic program. Selby hardly even played the 1 year he was there, and Xavier didnt exactly leave his mark on the program either. Side note it was great to see Paul Pierce and Nick Collison back in a Jayhawk uniform along with Mario Chalmers and the legend of Greg Ostertag .

Scottoant93ParticipantYeah i agree, I don’t think one and dones should be invited to these invites unless they did something worth noting, Selby didn’t even want to be there, Henry wasn’t that great for them. Leave these events for players who were commited or did something special for the team

JoeWolf1It’s all for fun, really, watching those highlights brings back a guy I kinda forgot about because Julian Wright had all the raw tools to be a very good NBA forward, but for some reason it just never clicked with him. Even for a stuggling team like Toronto, last year, he couldn’t play consistant enought to warrant regular minutes. I never thought he’d be a star, but coming out of college I thought he’d be a 12 ppg 5 rpg 4 apg type player who could start and be a glue guy. He’s only 24, but I really don’t think he’s improved much at all since coming out of college.
Good to see Ostertag get a dunk though! wish I could have gone to the game.

PaulsJayhawksParticipantWhile I don’t think either are Ku legends by far both didn’t HAVE to go to the game but chose too. Henry loves Ku and while he wasn’t a star he did play very well for Ku as a freshman and goes back every chance he gets.

JoeWolf1Last I knew he was at SNU ( an NAIA school ) in Oklahoma, apparently he wanted to go the basketball route and didn’t want to sit out a year.
