John Wall ballin this summer?

 Why are you making this such a big deal? So what if he plays basketball in the summer?  Am I the only one confused at this post?

I have to say it is refreshing that there is other people besides myself that arent walls John Walls jock, i have no doubt that the kid will a great but the comparisons to Rose are ridiculious . As for all he people that are hypin him up because of his recent peformances agianst other rec leagues get reall, there is more effort on defense in the NBA summer league. let me just say this anyone can look great against ghost defense its like watching a nba player in warmups  drill shot after shot, that doesnt mean he can do that at game speed.

the guys with a combined total of -468 reckon John Wall hasn’t added to his game over the summer and wont be greatly improved next season……………………….

Have so little to say, it is incredible. Flynt, we know it is summer league, but NOTHING else is happening. So, as of right now, John Wall has been playing quite well. He seems to have improved quite a bit and their is hope for the future. He may not be Derrick Rose, but the guy is a special player. His speed is top notch, and he is improving his mid range game, just like that guy, what’s his name? Oh, yeah, Derrick Rose did.

Omar, do you ever have anything good to say about anybody? I have no idea anything good you have had to say about any player you have talked about beside Omar Cook. You are the biggest killjoy I know on here, you also seem to take general pleasure in people not doing well. This, in turn, is the reason Omar has so many negative points. He is a constantly negative person, usually with very little to say or back-up, other than "people have been talking about him too much".

What makes Omar great though, is that his name is "OmartheLegend" and his avatar picture is of Omar Cook. I like Omar Cook, but the guy could not shoot for his life. Hence it being hilarious that a person giving idolatry to Omar Cook calling out a player for not being able to shoot. 

People always misunderstand my name its isnt meant in the literal sense exactly its more just the irony of it, plus im a omar cook fan and he played for the raps so in my books he is cool.

You have to know what to look for in summer league… Obviously, not the stats. I mean, JuJuan Johnson had 21 points off of layups and dunks last night… I know he’s not doing that in the real league. I look at what a player has been working on… What he has improved.

I watched John Wall yesterday in person and I already knew he was fast. I knew he was athletic. I knew he could get into the lane. But what I didn’t know was just how HUGE this dude has gotten. He’s jacked! I also could see that he’s been working on his pull up mid-range jumper big time. He looked comfortable shooting going to his left or right, and it looked smooth. He was knocking that down with a hand in his face consistently… And this was against NBA caliber defense in Eric Gordon, who only goes hard.

I wasn’t on the Wall bandwagon coming out of college as much as other people… But he’s changed my mind. He’s a superstar in the making and has even more potential than Rose due to his size, length and he seems to have the court vision that Rose doesn’t have. Wall has more potential at his position than Blake Griffin has at his, in my opinion.

Yeah, if Wall continues to work on his game..He could be the best point guard in the nba in 2 years…You dont average 10 assists a game as a rookie..Playing on a team with a starting lineup of immature and selfish players and poor shooters without being special….

But 1st he has to work on his halfcourt game,defense and shooting…..

Thanks for the first hand observation Indiana. I agree about Wall being a superstar in the making. His athleticism, passing, and court-vision are going to make him a special player. He and Griffin are my 2 favorite young players.

Let me just say, you are saying that I am overly judgmental. Than you say:

• I am "that" person who judges people behind closed doors
• I must be catholic, for whatever reason
• I judge people over p-orn or whatever

Let me just say, I have rarely hidden anything about myself. I do not judge people by anything other than what they say on this site, nor have I ever judged anyone to be a certain religion. I could care less about political affiliation, as well. I myself am Jewish and pretty liberal, but I respect peoples religions and political affiliations.

What I did here, was answer as to why people might have been getting negative points. I noticed that "OmartheLegend", tends to mostly post about people he does not like and he appears to be constantly negative. Did I say anything about him as a person or off of this board? Nope. I just talked about his persona, on this board.

I realize that I must have offended you, but I honestly do not understand how it got to such a point that you had to say the things you have about me beyond this board. My intentions are always to try and make this board as good as possible, and when I "judge" people, I tend to never take it beyond this board. If you felt like I did that with you, I apologize, because that was not my intention.

But, I think all that I did was disagree with you about something you were passionate about. I was just giving a different view point, and I think you realize that not everyone agrees with everything you say, even though you made fairly definitive statements. I know people do not always agree with me, and I always believe people are entitled to their opinions. I am entitled to disagree, as is anyone. This is the internet, and I suppose people can do whatever they would like.

I just like trying to make people possibly see things from a different perspective. When someone is overly negative, I try to find out why and maybe hope that we can reach some common ground. Hope this gives you an insight into my being "judgmental". I realize that I may have offended you, but that was not my goal or intentions. Also, you have not offended me, though I would really like the "judgment" to end. I know I will make an effort, hope you will do the same.
