Wanna watch this for free as well but there’s an anti-piracy law here in New Zealand now plus I’m saving my money to buy NBA 2k12 rather than watch it on pay-per-view so I might as well wait for it on youtube :-/

No Mayweather fight should be Pay-Per view unless it’s against Pacquiao, that’s the only fight that matters in boxing. This fight should be free for public for Mayweather “ducking” Pacman.

I don’t get why ortiz still hugged mayweather after apologizing to him twice. That wasn’t a good move by him and was completely taken advantaged of by mayweather. That was clean but a bit of a cheap shot.

Yeah Mayweayher critics will say that Ortiz wasn’t ready but the hit was legal. They were deemed ready to fight…then hugged..then Floyd dropped him. Ortiz wasn’t ready but he should have been.

You could see Floyd was ready to hit him when he came in for the hug.

My problem with the hit was the ref didn’t even have his head in the game, and was still discussing with the outside judges, that was some WWE shit, and quite frankly im a little surprised that they didnt throw a steel chair in the ring. In any event i don’t think that hit was legal in the slightest, and is the equivalent to an offense in football throwing a TD while the refs are in a huddle discussing a call, and the defense is is off the field.

I didn’t see the fight, but from what Ive heard, Floyd was dominating the entire fight, before the controversial K.O. So even if the fight had gone the distance, it looked like Floyd was going to win it regardless.

And please, I dont want Floyd to use this controversy and give Ortiz a rematch, just a reason to avoid Pacman.

BS. The refs always tell you to be prepared and have your guard up. That was a mistake by a young fighter and he paid for it. It’s no different than Peyton Manning running the no huddle and catching the defense with 12 men on the field. PERFECTLY LEGAL.

Floyd was in his ass 97.9% of the fight though… I don’t think Floyd has a reason to duck Pacman at all… He’s the better fighter. I hope they get that done.

He’s the better fighter b/c he is more fundamentally sound, has better defense, probably has more power, and has never lost…  Not hating on Pacquiao.  It will be a great fight though if it happens.

As for this fight, although what Mayweather did was pretty cheap, it was legal.  Fighters are always told to protect themselves at all times.  Plus it was in response to a dirty ass headbutt, which is ILLEGAL.  Mayweather was already dominating, knocking him out in the 4th only sped up the inevitable.  You can’t blame Mayweather for doing what he did, you’d be a little pissed too if that b*tch headbutted you and split your lip in two places.

    Mayweather/Pacquiao, get that DONE..

Mayweather indeed is the better technical boxer than Pacquiao, probably the best technical boxer ever. But I question Mayweather’s competition, Pacman has fought better boxers and has shown better determination, heart, and will when he’s up against tough competition. Other than Diego Corrales, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Zab Judah, Mayweather hasn’t had that tough of competition. He’s ducked Margarito, he’s ducked Cotto, who both were destroyed by Pacman, and now he’s ducking Pacman.

Mayweather’s defense is RIDICULOUS. It’s super hard to land punches on him. That’s why I like him better than Pacquiao. I think he’s quicker too, and his techique as mentioned is unrivaled.

You’ll have a hard time getting me to buy why Mayweather did was dirty. Why would you have your hands by your side in a boxing match?? That’s Ortiz’s fault. ENTIRELY. He got hit twice, why didn’t hit but his hands up after the 1st hit? It wasn’t dirty. Ortiz’s headbutt was WAY more dirty.

Yet Mayweather continues to duck him. And he isn’t the better fighter so that might be why he continues to duck him. I like Mayweather but he obviously knows he would get his clocked cleaned if he fought Pacman hence all the stipulations he try to add whenever they are trying to make a deal.

By the way that two punch combo was legal, dude should have had his hands up instead of keep trying to hug and give him dap
