OMG. Will Wake even have a team next year? Yes, it is true that they are having a difficult time and its not all Bzdelic’s fault. I still say though, they were not serious in turning this program around by the hiring of Bzdelic. They lose a ton of players…but who is he gonna get to replace them?
Since arriving at Wake…Bzdelic has now lost:
Tony Woods (3rd ranked Center in 2008)*
Ty Walker (2nd ranked Center in 2008)*
Ari Stewart (10th ranked SF in 2009)*
Melvin Tabb (19th ranked PF in 2010)*
JT Terrell (11th ranked SG in 2010)*
* rankings according to Rivals.com

Da1potParticipantMy friend who goes to Wake Forest might actually be able to walk on this year even though he’s only 6’2 140 haha….. But for real, they will likely have to rely more on non-scholarship and walk on players while realistically not being able to add many players to their roster.
Ty Walker is eligible beginning on December 10th. According to their website they have only 12 players on their roster with Walker suspended. Four of those players are non-scholarship players. Travis Mckie (13 and 7.7 as a freshman) will likely have to put up some great numbers for them to be competitive.
