rickybobbyParticipantIf the Rockets are not able to add a quality center through free agents like Nene or Dalembert they should explore trying to trade for Pau Gasol or Chris Kaman both of these guys would give them much need size and skills at the position. Even thought a younger more athletic center might fit their current roster better i think they need either someone who gives them a legitmate post scoring threat( Gasol) or a balance defensive and offense center (Nene, Kaman).

I think both trades are pretty much even for both teams with Houston having to give up a first round pick or two for Gasol. Maybe one for Kaman

Chilbert arenasParticipantI like the Kaman one for the clips since they are going to need to get rid of him anyway might as well get some young talent that have high ceilings.

bdiddy5115ParticipantWe need to do 3 things with our roster.
1) Concentration. We have too many solid young prospects losing value due to not getting much PT or even any at all, which is inevitable when you have 10-12 guys worthy of playing. We need to package a few while they still have value to shorten our roster, and pick up some high-quality players.
2) Get defensive. I’m a defense first guy, and it pains me to see Martin and Budinger starting out there. Scola is offense first as well. We mostly have guys who are one-way players, with Lowry and potentially Lee/Patterson being the exceptions (T-Will too if he ever found his head). You don’t win like that. Hayes is a good situational player, but we need an interior defensive presence (preferably over 6-11) as well as wings willing to defend.
3) Add star-power. This is obvious if you ever want to win in the league. We have the assets and picks to package together, but the question remains – which stars are available? Most are locked up, and guys like D12, CP3 and D-Will are all speculated to have favorites. We need to put all our chips on the table for one.
