valentineWhich player will be the better pro later down the road? And state your reason as to why?

iguapops420ParticipantBradley. He’s learning the game from some of the greatest of the past 10 years. Not to mention his D is better and jumper is nearly as good. Selby is in a tough situation being that he pays for a team full of guys his own size that are proven better players at this point. Being stuck behind Mike Conley JR,Tony Allen,OJ Mayo, and Greivis Vasquez doesn’t bode well for Josh. Too similar a situation as Crittentoon found himself in with MEM a few years back.
While I ike Josh better, and think he has better star potential, I’ll take Bradley.

surveParticipantdont know….but Selby will have the tougher road because he has much more to prove about his character than Bradley. so where Bradley will be afforded opportunities…and rightfully so, Selby will have some opportunities as well, although more reluctant and he cant afford any mis-steps or he will find those opportunities to be limited.

surveParticipantgood point about Selby and everytime I think about his situation, I think about Willie Warren. Almost mirror image as to what happened to them with their stock falling and then being on a bench behind other good guards and a talented rookie who they pretty much HAVE to play first.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantBradley played pretty good in limited minutes Doc gave him last season…
I Know Selby is going to Memphis where there are alot of vets ahead of him..But if he plays well coach Hollins is the type to give a guy minutes if he’s doing the right things…

river09ParticipantSelby.. both young players regardless of situation if a player is better they will get their opportunities whether it be where they are or someplace else and I believe talent wise Selby can be the better player…. that being said Selby blew most of his opportunities at Kansas and if you screw up in the nba one too many times you’re out… I can see him either being a star or a player who travels around to a lot of teams never really settling down and playing consistently enough to merit a legit PT… if his 37% fg follows him to the nba his trip will be short… Bradley I see as a high effort, steady player, who always lays it all out every night… and there are plenty of space on teams rosters for players like that…

JoeWolf1Bradley, because he shows up and plays D every night, Boston has him on a 3 year contract and is committed to developing him as a player. Having a 42” vertical and scoring points against amateurs in summer pick up games hasn’t left me any more impressed with Selby than I was in April.

Bmore_DCParticipantif Selby had Bradley’s brain it wouldnt even be a question…
but there are a lot of question marks about his work ethic/attitude. also his defense…so i guess i would say Bradley, even tho Selbys ceiling is higher i feel like…

You hit the nail on the head with the Willie Warren comparison. Both athletic rre TALENTS who neither were able to get their acts together and both had health issues in the year prior to entering the draft. I remeber the Clips coaching staff saying something about Willie Warren being the more Nba ready of the 2 as he FAR outplayed Bledsoe in the SPL yet still didn’t get the nod while Baron was out at the begining of the season.
