FastAndFuriousParticipantIs it just me or does everyone else think with the rumor of John Wall being 6’5 now and all the highlight tapes we seen of him this summer, that if the season happens he will become a top level PG?

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantEven if he’s 6’4, he’s going to be a top level point guard. With his skill set, even if he’s 6’2, he’s going to be a top level point guard.

I May Be WrongParticipanthe was injured last season. Plus his team isn’t really a team that scares their opposition. Despite all that, he put up numbers that actually compare or are better to rookie numbers by CP3 or Rose or Westbrook
Wall will be a top level PG. Not the offensive threat that Rose is but a more complete package PG both offensively and defensively. He’ll be in that discussion as a top 5 PG within 2 more seasons.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI think he has had the smoothest transition into the league compared any of the younger point guards now a days. He’s obviously the best player on his team at such a young age. I honestly believe he could be a 19ppg, 9apg, 5rpg kind of point guard next season. And for a 20 year old, that’s pretty damn good. Hell, he may even turn some heads if his jumpshot has improved and be a 21ppg, 9apg, 5rpg kind of guy.
Is he top level as Westbrook, Rose, or Paul? He would have to win some games in order to be in their league. He’s there in terms of talent. He just needs to win in order to prove it.
He’s basically Russell Westbrook’s scoring ability intertwined with Rondo’s passing mentality and ability.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI dont have anything against Wall at all, i was just letting it be known i’m not on his bandwagon but I respect people’s game and i felt he would emerge as a top PG in the league this year.

Im Your FatherParticipantI think Wall will definitely be a top 5 point guard very soon.
Personally, I would still take Paul or Williams over Westbrook or Rose, because not only are they explosive scorers, but they also manage to make everyone around them better. While they lack the run and jump athleticism of Rose and Westbrook, they are far better at running an offense, while still getting their own offense.
To me, Wall represents the best of both worlds. He has the vision and instincts to be an elite passer in the league like a Paul or Williams, while also bringing the athleticism and excitement of Rose.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHis characteristics in terms of what type of person he is are the same as Derrick Rose. Their approach to the game is the same. Play hard, train hard, speak soft.

surveParticipantWall is from my city. Soft spoken in interviews, but on the court, he is something else. Trash talking and cussing like a sailor on the court in HS…while ironically playing for "Word of God".
