Aran SmithKeymasterI’m calling upon the knowledge of the forus for this one. Name as many none and done "preps to pros" college choices as you can. ie:
Amare Stoudamire – Memphis
Josh Smith – Indiana
Andrew Bynum – UConn
Martell Webster – Washington
Robert Swift – WashingtonJR Smith – UNC
Eddy Curry – Depaul
Kwame Brown – Florida

Kobe- although he never signed a letter of intent, I always heard he wouldve signed with Duke
T-Mac- was going to Kentucky
Amar’e- I think he actually verbally committed to Memphis and Coach Cal
Al Harrington- he didnt commit but it was almost certain he was coming to NC State (I am from Raleigh)
Rashard Lewis- gave a verbal to Houston
Darius Miles- St. John’s

Bad DogParticipantKobe never actually made a "commitment" to any any college, i just rememeber reading an article about Kobe before the draft saying that he was considering Lasalle because his dad went there and it was close to home. I believe it was in Slam

Darius to St. John’s was legit, and Rashard to Houston seems so as well. T-Mac seemed like a lock to play for Pitino at Kentucky, before he left for the NBA.
Robert Swift was going to go to USC:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/news/story?id=1801600
I think I remember Al Harrington as a Seton Hall guy:
http://articles.nydailynews.com/1998-05-11/sports/18060991_1_tommy-amaker-seton-hall-georgia-tech
Kobe to Duke was what I heard as well
Dorrell Wright to DePaul
Kendrick Perkins to Memphis
Jonathan Bender to Mississippi State
Travis Outlaw to Mississippi State
Monta Ellis to Mississippi State
Ndubi Ebi to Arizona
Andrew Bynum to UCONN
Andray Blatche to Syracuse
Think these were all legit. I made a thread about where guys may have gone, but I remember all of these visibly:

surveParticipantHarrington never committed so we will never know, but the word here in Raleigh before the entry deadline was that he had narrowed his decision down to 2 choices….NCSU or NBA. Seton Hall was high on his list but NCSU was the frontrunner. I dont remember Seton Hall’s team at that time…maybe Tommy Amaker was still HC? I do remember NCSU, and Les Robinson was HC and they were the worst team in the ACC. Robinson and State were really banking on Harrington to go there as he couldve turned the program around if for only 1 year.
