I don’t know if Nerlens got hurt or not (he only played 17 minutes) but it was a lopsided performance by Sim Bhular over Noel. Not only did Nerlens not score, he didnt attempt a shot while only blocking 1 shot (which is his bread and butter) and grabing 3 rebounds.
Sim Bhullar on the other hand went 7-11 from the field for 16 points and 11 rebounds in 25 minutes of play.
Phenom Andrew Wiggins led all scorers with 21 in the Candaian route of the Americans 104-83. yet another great performance from this kid.
There was recently a questioned asked to this fourm as to "how everyon heard about NBA draft.net" My response (which was true) was I googled Andrew Wiggins name and 2015 NBA mock draft.
Theres no question that Wiggins will find out one day if David Stern uses lotion on his hands!!!

mikeyvthedonParticipantSim has 125-135 pounds on Noel. If not more. I believe that Nerlens can effect a few of his shots, but if Sim gets near the basket at this point, it is over. The reason Sim is not Bismack is due to his lack of speed and athleticism, which will never be elite. I think his future as a prospect is incredibly limited due to this, while Nerlens Noel will eventually gain some weight and possibly become a lottery pick due to his elite athleticism and defensive ability. Nerlens is still only 200 or so pounds, plus word is his offensive game is really limited at this point. But, his timing for blocking shots is amazing and he can rebound, so he definitely has major potential.
Sim’s size is a gift and a curse. The gift is, in limited minutes he will be a major nuisance for any team to stop near the basket. Add in the fact that you will have extreme difficulty boxing him out, and the imposing presence he has just by holding his hands up in the middle of the zone, and he will be a major factor in the college game at some point during his time at Xavier. The problem will be conditioning, he more than likely will never crack 30 mpg in college. Size can get you far, but even at the NBA level, a player of Sim’s size can be abused defensively. Not to mention, the speed in the paint can lead to multiple turnovers and on defense, foul trouble. Nonetheless, my man NoMoney watched it all live and I am sure he is going to give a fantastic breakdown of what happened. It appears that Jabari Parker and Julius Randle definitely are in a different class than Nerlens Noel at this point, definitely have played much better in this tournament. Nerlens is a great defensive presence, but the fact is that his BABC team he played with during the EYBL was incredibly stacked.

OhCanada-ParticipantI agree Mikey, but one way or another it is nice to see Sim actaully maximaze the attributes he has which are his size, strength, length, positioning, and touch. It would seem he was more aggressive in this game and thats what he needs to do consistantly.
I think everyone knew from the beggining Parker’s US team would be meeting with team Canada, the two teams are just completely stacked. Hope I can watch it it is going to be a great game.

Anton123ParticipantWhy have I never seen Sim Bhullar make more than 2 blockshots? That is slightly alarming
