But it depends on who is drafting him. Because if you look around the league only a few teams need a potential star on their team (this draft there might be 2). So, I believe teams are going to draft on NEED than want, especially since cap room is a B-word, and draft picks are counted against your cap regardless. If I’m any of those teams from 13 to 20 on NBAdraft’s board, I’ll select Blair. You don’t need a star just a solid big man ( who you know going to play some type of D). I don’t see him going past Utah because they have to get rid of Boozer, Okur, or Milsap. And Blair can take that Milsap role off the bench, but with a much greater presence on the defensive end…………………

i think any team could use blair and his toughness, but there is no way he should go before pick 25. nobody knows how a undersized forward will play in the nba. its a 50/50 chance on a guy like blair. so i think late first round at best if i am a gm

I think the 25 range is where teams should start looking at him. He won’t get away with all his pushing in the NBA, and it’s anyones guess as to how much it’ll affect his rebounding ability.

I feel that blair will be a mike sweetney or (at best) a craig smith type player. If he does end up as good as craig smith i would be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah I noticed yesterday Blair was slotted 13th in the updated draft, a huge mistake. This guy couldn’t jump over a phone book, his extreme lack of height and athleticism will negate any chance he has to succeed in the NBA. In college there are very few players that have the strength and awareness he has, so he is able to do what he wants on that level. In the league, he won’t be a man amongst boys. Any team drafting him in the first round will be making a mistake.

I See Dajuan Blair As A HUGE Bust! The Guy Is 6’7 And A Center! I Don’t Care About His 7’3 Wingspan. How Is He Going To Be Able To Defend In The Fast Paced NBA? He Won’t Even Get Down The Floor To Play Defense. Not To Mention He Will Get Blocked Over And Over Again.

It depends where he’s picked. If hes picked in the top 15 for sure he’s a bust. But if hes picked where his talent level is (25th – second round) then he can be a realistic role/bench player.

Pretty good role player at best if he ever is a star somewhere it would be Europe, he would probably eventually command big bucks over there. As far as the NBA goes he would be a decent player but considering where he slated to go he would be very bust worthy.
