aamir543ParticipantDavid Stern is a bittch. Did anyonelse watch him on ESPN yesterday, he is soooooo boring to listen to. No wonder Derek Fisher looked like he was sleep walking after the all star game.(I believe the two sides met during the All-Star game.

SwatLakeCityParticipant"The suit was filed in New York and the NBA needed to make sure New York residents not under NBA contracts were included in the suit"
That is the most ridiculous and prejudice crap I have ever heard. I can understand suing the players because of the effects of the lockout, but specifically mentioning Jimmer and other players just because they are from New York is just uncalled for.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantYeah, when i 1st heard it i thought it was a joke.Every since Stern took over as Commish ..The NBA has been the Number 1 ran Sport out of all of the 4 Major Sports…I think their dragging their feet and not taking these serious..I think its been over 30 days since the start of the Lockout and they’ve meet only 2 or 3 times…Its just like going out on a date..You cant tell how or which way the relationship is going by getting 2gether only twice in a month..Once they start getting together on consecutives dates..Thats when you know things will be getting serious…
But i think around late September & October they’ll get more serious..Stern as well as the players that were involved in the last Lockout over a decade ago..Know that some teams in the league still havent completely recovered from the last Lockout..

kaceyParticipantI guess I don’t quite understand where the prejudice is coming into play.
I see that Amar’e was listed individually and same for Mike Dunleavy. It seems it has more to do with the status of the player in regards to their contract.
Jimmer is guaranteed a contract. Jenkins’ unguaranteed. Amar’e has a deal with the Knicks. Mike Dunleavy is a free agent and he lives in New York during the offseason. Since this is being filed in New York, then I guess it all makes sense.
