Can defensive players make it to the Hall?
I love trying to listen to Mutombo talk. Another great ambassdor for the game of basketball.

Yeah, Mutombo will get in..Maybe not on the 1st Ballot, becuz he wasnt on the same group as a Shaq, Kareem,Hakeem or Wilt….He was an above average player that made the most of of what he had….He was very limited on offense…But he always gave the elite centers a battle.

All this talk about guys in the Hall of Fame..Why havent anyone Investigated how guys that average over 60 DNP a year and average only 100 minutes a Year…..But have careers that last 6 or more years in the NBA

He’ll get in for everything he’s done on and off the basketball court. It may not be first ballot he’ll definitely get in.

I think his 4 DPoYs (in a tougher era, than what Dwight is dealing right now) should warrant him getting in. No rings hurts, but 8 (!) all-stars, and all-nba 2nd team once, 3rd twice. I’d vote him in.
