I think this trade works for all teams as long as Greg Oden sign and traded

Atlanta: Gets rid of Marvin’s bad contract and get Marcus Camby’s solid Defence at the 5 for a year before his contract expires and have Andre at the 3.

    J. Teague
    J. Johnson
    A. Iguodala
    A. Horford
    M. Camby
    K. Hinrich

Philly: Get rid of Andre’s contract which allows Evan Turner to start and develop and gets a Greg Oden get a fresh start at the 5 with a new team.
    J. Holiday
    E. Turner
    M. Williams
    E. Brand
    G. Oden
    L. Williams
    J. Meeks
    A. Nocioni

    M. Speights
Portland: Gets faster and more athletic with Josh Smith at the 4 and L. Aldridge starts at the 5 with Zaza covering the back up 5 spot.
    R. Felton
    W. Matthews
    G. Wallace
    J. Smith
    L. Aldridge

    B. Roy
    N. Batum

    Z. Pachulia

and if you could think of how these trade ideas could be improved that would be great.

They would get a role player in marvin williams and either an extremely injury prone Center in Oden  or and aging Center on the back end of his career in Camby. Im sure they could get more than that for Iggy.

I gave you a +1 because I understand your point. But I still believe Greg Oden can be franchise center

Evan Turner would be able to step in at Iggy postion and Marcus contract would expire at the end of the year in that senario or they could use him as trade bait.

Yes Greg Oden Could be a bust but just say they traded for Kaman instead he wouldn’t get this team anywhere would he. Who else would trade a decent center for Iggy, besides not many teams have decent centers anyway.

I dont think portland is going to watn to give up both of their centers and end up exactly the way atlanta already is

can defend centers + they would be much a running team with Ray Felton at the point, Wes at the 2, Wallace at the 3,Smith at the 4 and LA12 at the 5 with Batum of the bench. Atlanta didn’t have that.

    PG: Felton vs Hinrich

    SG: Matthews vs Joe Johnson

    SF: Wallace vs Williams

    PF: Smith vs Smith

    C: Aldridge vs Horford

    6th: Batum vs Crawford

    7th: Zaza vs Zaza

I mean it seems like pretty much the exact same team to me with a few of the players names changed.  I just dont see why portland would try to go small when they have to compete with the lakers, mavs, thunder, clippers, grizzlies etc… none of those teams have any interest in going small. Portland would have the exact same problem atlanta has been having, no true center.

Not a fan really of any of these deals save for maybe @rileymcshea3.

@flyboyfly…LAC wants no part of Beasley. Didn’t want him during draft time, don’t want him now. Source Eric Pincus http://www.hoopsworld.com/Chat.asp?CHAT_TOPICS_ID=1734 at about 11 questions in.

And the Clippers wouldn’t get rid of a much needed center in Kaman unless they get one in return since DeAndre Jordan is a FA

Gerald Wallace was playing the 4 alot. This would put him back at the 3 and have Josh Smith defending the 4 which are their positions.the only team I would see the Blazers having trouble with would be the Mavs unless the Lakers can get Howard.

I’m sure my projected Blazers would be more of a running team unlike the Hawks. Hinrich, Johnson, Williams, Smith and Horford would not make a good running team.

LaMarcus Aldridge would have been an All Star had he played at center last year.

They may be a running team.

But I don’t think that they would be a better running team than the Blazers if this trade happened and Nate let Ray Felton up the tempo.

Fly bobbin fly you didnt put Brandon Roy in the Blazers depth chart who would basically give the Blazers the advantage in that comparison with the Hawks but the Hawks would deffiantly win that trade and the Blazers would be losing because Greg Oden and Lamarcus Aldridge could turn into the best big men combo in the NBA

First I want to say I can’t stand when someone has the same subject as thier first line. Second I think Josh Smith for Chris Kamen is the only trade thats needed. Atlanta finally gets a C it needs and Clips get Josh Smith to play SF to start with Jordan at C then the first sub is Aminu with Smith sliding to PF and Griffin sliding to C. Gordan and Mo would start of course. Atlanta could throw in Zaza if Jordan is a FA but does anyone picture DeAndre leaving. I don’t, he seems to enjoy playing with Griffin. The Hawks don’t need him cause Horfard can play C.
