JBrace19ParticipantI feel bad for these guys…Three key players who SHOULD NOT have left school early; Willie Warren(Soph.) who could have maybe been a solid role player, and still has time to pan out, Tommy Mason-Griffin(Fr.) who didn’t really have a chance, and wasn’t big on school anyway, and Tiny Gallon(Fr.) who is a not just big guy…a HUGE guy, and he can shoot it. All young talent that could have molded into a team that could have made a run in the Big Dance this year past season and perhaps next season. Which is why it makes me angry that some kids like Tommy Mason-Griffin leave school early…just so they don’t have to go to school any more I know there are a lot of other schools out there that have had similar situations, but this one stands out to me the most. Thoughts…

Chilbert arenasParticipantWillie Warrens draft stock was much higher after his freshman year than sophomore year. I hope he can find a place and doesn’t end up over seas.

JNixonParticipantI seriously believe if TMG stayed in college, by the time he graduated he could’ve been similar to Jameer Nelson. There was NO way he was going to be in school that long because, as you said, he didn’t seem to be a fan of the classroom.
Tiny Gallon was a good talent at the PF spot and he had intriguing skills, but I never really liked him that much. He was a bad defender and he floated wayyy too much on the perimeter for a big guy, especially one who showed flashes of a nice low post arsenal like he did at times. He also seemed like a headcase too.
Willie Warren definitely would’ve been well-served to declare as a Fr., but he still would’ve likely be chained to the bench. Just with guaranteed money. Him declaring early sounds great in hindsight, but it still doesn’t make up for the fact that he’s a tweener guard who was a bit unpolished and who was a highly inconsistent shooter, a very shaky defender, and a lacking decision-maker. He was fun to watch as a Fr. though, I will definitely admit that. He had a great game/1st half against Kansas in one game I watched when Griffin was out with injury. I didn’t imagine his Soph. season would go as badly as it did. That was probably the worst year he could have ever asked for.

Scottoant93ParticipantSometimes I wonder why athletes go to colleges that they hate. I mean i know the bigger the school the better chances of getting drafted higher, but some recruits should seriously consider pick mid major schools to play at instead of going over there heads perfect example seth curry should have stayed at liberty now hes stuck at duke, and will not even get alot of minutes. I don’t know about you guys but I would rather set my own path then just follow everyone
