mikeyvthedonParticipantHe really could do it all. Luke had a great college career, and his senior year I know at least SI had him as a First Team All-American. He averaged 21.2 ppg, 7.2 rpg and 4.5 apg, if that is not a great all-around player, I do not know what is. His shooting percentages were 49% from the field, 44% from long distance and 86% from the line. His season high was a great game that I was at, he hung 42 on Arizona, who got 37 from Salim Stoudamire and 27 from Hassan Adams to win the game. My brother and I were also there when Luke hung 40 on Colorado, nailing a ton of clutch shots for a come from behind OT victory in the NIT. I thought he would be a major help to LeBron in Cleveland, but he had major issues with injury in the pros, and I think he had a very bad back.

BasterdInABasketParticipantSalim stoudamire. I thought he was gonna be a great scorer off the bench. He was an undersized 2 that ran into injury problems. Arizona was so much fun to watch though when they had him Hassan Adams shakur frye and all those guys. He hit that gw vs ok state in the tourney too. Salims still playing in Reno and hopefully he can get back.

Chilbert arenasParticipantWe all know Deron Williams turned out to be the best pro from that Illinois team, but I thought there would be a spot for Dee Brown and he could assume a Jason Terry like role off the bench and score in bunches but also run the team if needed. Brown and Terry both wear 3+ pairs of high socks with a headband anyway so why not?

lakersfan4lifeParticipantJay Williams – PG for Duke.
It’s a shame that a motorcycle accident and the injuries derailed his career.

McDunkinMatt Freije of Vanderbilt. 2000 to 2004
Was pretty much a poor mans, 6’10 version of Dirk.
If Kevin Stallings could get the level of recruits he does these days to put around him he would have been a house hold name.

surveParticipantYeah, Childress could ball, injuries played a part in him leaving the league, but also, he was another one of those shoot first PGs.

stealsgaloreParticipantLuke Jackson was the bomb, he used to live like a mile away from my house and would come to some of my high school games where he won a state championship game.
I was at the NIT Colorado game to and it was amazing, best scoring display I’ve seen in person.

aamir543ParticipantGreg Oden, but he still has the talent, no doubt about it. If he can stay healthy, 15 and 8 seems realistic, but my hopes are fading on his being the next dominant big.

llperezed obanon. He was the john r wooden player of the year as a senior. He averaged 20.4ppg and 8.3 rebs and shot 53% from the field and 43% from 3. He had 30 points and 17 rebounds in the national title game leading the bruins to the championship and finishing the season 32-1 overall. He was drafted 9th i believe by the nets and never did anything in the nba. He had bad knees and delt with injuries.

JNixonParticipantSalim Stoudamire is my all-time favorite lol.
Gerry McNamara was cool.
I used to like Rodney Carney at Memphis, in middle school I was soooo happy when Philly drafted him -___-.
I liked Edgar Sosa at Louisville, he was cocky and played with swag.

iguapops420ParticipantAnyone not naming MateenCleaves aren’t being true to themselves lol.
Acie Law IV was one of my favs. Anyone remember him getting his Steph Curry on that last year. He was shooting threes with either hand like it was nobody’s business. Morrison was always fun to watch. Dropping the record in I believe the Maui Invite was incredible. Naturally I gotta say Pittsnoggle,Gansey, and The most exciting, D’Sean Butler.

steviechillzParticipantI know he isn’t alotta people’s fav, but Scottie Reynolds! The guy could score in so many ways. THe best part was that he did it with haters, limited height, and limited athleticism. And, who doesn’t remember that driving layup he had against PITT! Man i miss him lol bro crush

Other than them all being from Indiana and being point guards, they all have one thing in common… Should’ve went pro after their freshman seasons lol. If they’d done so, they would’ve been drafted.
