OllstarParticipantJONAS!!! This guy is great. Happy about our pick. Just one thought where would he go in 2012 had he not declared. He could buyout more easily next year and I could see him going top 5 even in that deep draft.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantNo doubt about it IMO…They have McAdoo going 2nd right now and I would take Jonas over him and Anthony Davis, dunno about over Barnes and Drummond though…I think the Cavs made a big mistake and he will show them why in the future. I mean, the kid has absolutely dominated the competition during this tournament, even USA, and even though he isn’t the bulkiest, he bangs, blocks shots and rebounds. He has the frame to fill out nicely and even in his draft interview he said he was like Chris Bosh (LOL) in that he is skinny and needed to gain weight. Kid is absolutely special, draft "guru’s" were so stupid for dropping him. Hell, Chad Ford had him falling to what, #13??? Dumb

boshjonesfordParticipantCould have even gone number one 1 if theres a right fit
i dont think Drumond comes out next year….is he coming out of high school…what NCAA team is he going to i dont get it?
Jonas is gonna play against compition thats better then NCAA and he did so last year as well….the league is gonna get even better with nba players coming in if the lockout continues === i dont know the exact stats but he played good last year with his euro league team — something like 20 and 10 in adjusted minutes.
Cavs wanted to take him 4 even with his contract issues and this was before FIBA..
what impresses me most is nothing do with his stats/potential or age….
Its more about his compititveness which is hard to find in a big mam….he is no soft..
-you see him doing pushups before the game…apprently takes 200 free throws after practise (shoots like 80 somthing perfect)
– apperently was crying and punching the wall after the lose against USA
and he is only 19
in an interview witht he raptors he was saying how Basketball is a second religion in Lithunia i guess this is why they won the championship and care about the game so much and as for now he is considered biggest young start out of that country.
I remember how euro scouts wore saying last year that he is better then Kanter and i didnt belive it but now im starting to

i’m jus so offendedParticipantDrummond’s deal is that he is already 19 and was originally a part of the 2012 HS class but re-classified, so technically, according to the rules, he should be allowed to enter…and yes I think Jonas and Kater are pretty close talent wise but i would go with Jonas still, he’s younger and more of an inside presence

omphalosParticipantI think Toronto definitely made the right call passing on Brandon Knight to snatch up Valanciunas; Bayless and Calderon are still a good rotation, but in a couple of years Davis, Bargnani and Valanciunas will be one of the better big-man rotations in the NBA (assuming they all stick around).
