BlazermannParticipantI think he would be a perfect fit in the backcourt with rose, he’s big can defend and shoot the three and im pretty sure he’s diying to get a new start somewhere else and I think the bull wouldnt have to give up much to get him but if I was the bulls id be trying to steal o.j mayo away for pennies .. what do u guys think? who would you go after if you were in search of a two?

JNixonParticipantBrandon Rush doesn’t solve any of Chicago’s problems at the SG spot. He’s a poor ball-handler who can’t create his own shots and he’s not a true scorer worth drawing plays up for off the ball either.

MJBrownParticipantStrong, defense, and shoots the 3: Sounds like Bogans. I’ve never been a fan of Brandon Rush. I think they can do better than Rush at the 2.

The White MambaParticipantOj Mayo wouldnt be a bad fit for them if he could get his act together. Rose needs someone else who can create his own shot.

FilipinoEllaj-rich would be a good compliment with D-Rose, he is a spot up shooter and can create his own shot, the prob is how much would he be signed? i see him getting 5 mil per year in CBA last year

MJBrownParticipantIsn’t 5 million per year less than the mid level exception? I think JRich feels he’s a more quality player than that. Furthermore, he’s not a strong defender. I don’t see him as a Thibideau kind of player

MJBrownParticipantWhat do you mean IF he can defend? When you’ve been in the league for as long as JRich has, you pretty much know if he’s going to help you defensively or not. If you’re Chicago’s GM, do you really wanna spend that much money on a guy who is definitely not peaking in his career? They have the league MVP, they have Deng and Boozer who can give you 20 on any given nite. You need solid role players to win in this league, and I think a guy like Richardson is not the kind of player that fits into the team’s system right now.

Malik-UniversalParticipanty wouldnt he fit??
he can shoot and score at the two guard postition.. some thing the bulls dont have for the 2… bogans doesnt cut it of course to be ur starter
and the bulls have pretty good role players… i think there set in that area

iguapops420ParticipantJ-Rich wouldn’t be terrible. J.R. Smith might be a cheaper option, which is funny cuz they had him and gave him away to denver for absolutely nuttin

So what you are saying is that Keith Bogans will be the starting SG next year.
As long as Memphis holds out on dealing O.J. Mayo to a contender (which is why Heisley had no interest in dealing him to the Bulls but was willing to trade him to the Pacers), the Bulls aren’t getting a major upgrade. They have a shooter who can’t defend in Korver, so there is no need for Michael Redd, James Jones, Sasha Vu, Marco Belinelli, or J.R. Smith. They have a defender who can’t shoot in Brewer, so even I can’t justify putting up an offer for the best defensive wing in the game in Mbah a Moute. I really would want to make that argument because nobody else in the league comes close to guarding LeBron James as well as Mbah a Moute, but it would require a series of moves that just aren’t realistic. And then they have a guy who can defend a bit, shoot a bit, and have no ability to create in Bogans. There goes Anthony Parker and Shane Battier. Even if they wanted to go down the path of Vince Carter or Mike Dunleavy, I doubt it the play would match the names.
