CP3/One of the long contracts on NO Roster TAriza/or Emaka & JJack to the Clipps for MoWill/Kaman & Minny’s UP 2012 1st
NO gets cap relief & two young studs to build around as they move the Team to Seattle.
Clipps get a Top 3 PG and are seriously contending for a Chip with some added experience. Also, BGriff has to start winning so that he knows what it takes to play meaingful games in March, as the Clipps(w CP) fight to hang onto the 7th seed out west.
Clipps 2011/2012 Lineup
CP3/EB
EGordon
Ariza or Aminu
BG
DJordan or Emaka
Bench=Veterans that want to chase a ring/One double digit scorer & One quality Big.
Get Vinny out of there Hire JVG.

They would probably want Bledsoe and Deandre Jordan( sign and trade) Aminu and the pick, and in my opinoin that is the best haul they can get for him.

If you are rebuilding it is unwise to take on other people’s contract’s you should go directly to the draft & give your fan base something to be excited about. For me this is the trade is great. Imagine if NO or Seattle has Anthony Davis as the foundation of your franchise, with your own Top 5 pick because the goal is to sell off as many bad contracts that you can & sign a few D-Leaguers to come play like the Cavs did last year.

If you give Aminu, Bledsoe, Williams, Foye, and Minnesota pick for CP3 and Ariza, then I think you have to take a good hard look at if. You could even include Kaman and Okafor if the Hornets need to save even more money. That is some solid talent and a top pick in a stacked draft and if they make the trade will probably end up having two top 5 picks in a loaded draft. If David West leaves then CP3 will already have one foot out the door so it might not be that bad of a deal if you think about it

  Why. I think an Elite PG can transform your team. DWill teammates shooting % went up 2-3 points last year because he can get guys the ball in the places best suited for their skill-set. Also, Paul has a strong desire to win, this attitude coupled with a Hungry Blake would make the Clipps a serious team.

It’s time the Hornets realize they messed up by not surrounding CP3 with some talent and that you have to get all you can for him while he’s still under contract with you. I like what jjonz said, the Hornets need to rebuild and go for high lottery picks and young talent with rookie contracts, it’s what they need not a superstar and filler stuck in 8th seed or bust every year.

if the clips get cp3 they’re going to have to send more then expiring deals, melo’s trade set up the type of deal the nohla will expect so the clips would have to send: EG, Bledsoe, Jordan, and Aminu in young talent and send Kaman for Emeka’s bad contract and CP3 plus minny’s first rounder
