    These are probobly stupid questions but ill ask them anyways since i dont know the answers..

    1) I know GM’s cant contact players but are they allowed to discuss trades with other GMs during the lockout or is that prohibited by the league.

     

    2) how about couches say raptors new coach for example signed a 3 year deal (hypothetical). if there is no NBA next year does this mean he still gets paid next year and actually couches for 2 more years…. what about the players contracts.

     

    3) NBA removed the players pictures ect from the website does that mean NBA games (2k11/live) will also have some ristrictions on their games…maybe like NCAA games where they dont show the names of the players.

    To answer no.3.. No they don’t have that kind of control.. Nba 2k11 still has a contract and just because there is a lockout the nba can’t break up anything on that contract.

    Do you know if 2k has a contract over the next couple of years, meaning do they still have the ability to make the 2k12 game with all the rookies even if the lockout is still going on?

    Yes^ they already made 2k12 and it comes out in october.. It will have the rookies im sure.

    ^^^ the only reason why i thought they might not have the rookies is because i thought they would have to sign with the team for the game have them….Like last year for example didnt have Ricky Rubio/ Xavier Henrey (signed late) … but i dont know about these things so they might have them

    Good question about 2K with the rookies. Madden has rookies even when they are holding out, just don’t post thier pic in the profile. So not sure why 2k wouldn’t do the same..
