If you where the jazz in 2005 and had the choice between Deron Williams and Chris Paul who would you choose, not knowing if they would leave or not.

I would of taken Chris Paul, because he seems to take over games when they need him to, and the better passer.

Chris Paul just slightly. Deron Williams has probably played better than Paul in the last 2 years but if Cp3 had better teammates you would see just how amazingly skilled he is. In the playoffs he took over like I hadn’t seen a point guard do in a while.. I mean he had a game of 33, 7 rebounds, and 14 assists. then he had a game of 27, 13, and 15. He did those stats without a consistent teammate and missing David West. Paul just has it all for a point guard he is clutch, tremendous passer, good scorer, range on his jumper, great rebounder for a point, and the best ball thief currently in the game. If he had the teams Deron had in Utah then he would put up unreal stats for a point guard and they would have been a contender with boozer to pass too. Paul had some injury’s but it seems that he has bounced back.. i haven’t seen Deron Williams really take over a game like Paul can. I also think Paul is a better teammate and his teammates like him more. Paul is a tremendous Floor General and always knows exactly what to do. He is one of the least turnover prone point guards in the league and has a high basketball IQ. I would have picked Chris without question. Not to take anything away from Deron though as he is a great Point guard but I would have picked Paul.
