I May Be WrongParticipantHe has the POTENTIAL to do that. How likely is it that he will do that? not very likely because only LeBron puts up numbers like that. If Iggy is gone this season, I’d expect 15, 5, 3 from him initially. You gotta remember, if Iggy is traded, then the Sixers are completely giving the keys on offense to Jrue who would probably get 8 assists a game when Iggy leaves.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe rebounding and assist numbers are possible, but scoring average is a little too high… Especially for someone who can’t shoot.
IF Iguodala is traded, I could see Turner averaging 13, 6 and 4. He didn’t have the rookie year many were expecting, but I saw some good things at certain points in the season. I liked that he showed he could defend three positions and he rebounds very well. He’s going to be a very good role player in the NBA. Just not the star people thought he’d be.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantHe only played 23 minutes because he was kicked from the starting lineup for not playing good at all. Per 36 minutes he averages 11 points 3 assists and 5.9 rebounds.. so with starter minutes he doesn’t even average something that would make you think he could average 20, 7 and, 5.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’ll be better in year two though. You could just see that he had a hard time adjusting in year one.
He didn’t get to dominate the ball like he did in college with Holiday and Iguodala on the team. He had to learn to play off of the ball, which is something he probably never had to do in his life. And it’s not like he’s a great shooter. He was out of position somewhat. That’s why Meeks was playing more than him. Due to that, Turner was second guessing himself out there at times.
Turner had to adjust his game a lot. He went from creating and putting the ball on the floor, to having to learn to move off of screens, and catch and shoot. That was a big adjustment, but one that’ll do him some good as his career continues.
I thought Turner looked good vs Miami in the playoffs.

ghrghrParticipantHe had some sort of leaning layup/jumpshot where he would shoot over the defender close to the paint that was great in college. I always knew that move wouldn’t translate to the NBA where the defenders aren’t slower and shorter than him. He has great ball handling skills and is still in his second year, so he can be a good player.
I do believe he can average those numbers sixer23 mentioned, just not this year.

boxn1ParticipantTo get to those numbers he would have to make a Derrick Rose like leap over this summer. Its possible, but thats a lot to put on a guy. I would say 12-16 points,3 or 4 assist, and 5-7 rebounds.
