BubblebuttParticipantI don’t know why everyone’s coming down so hard on David Kahn. He did a good job drafting. Starting line up of Love, D. Williams, B Easy, Wes Johnson running along side Ricky Rubio sounds killer to me. Rubio will be throwing alley-opps from everywhere and the game speed will be lightning quick. People probilby just want to be hard on Kahn cause he drafted a bunch of PGs but it seems to be working out. He’s one legit Center away from really being competative. Could use a SG that can creat his own shot. Here’s my bold prediction which I know everyone here is already thinking. Mini will win a title before Memphis. Oh ya I said it. I just hope they can win 35+ games next year so it starts to look possible.

the I in winParticipantEveryone’s hard on Kahn because he is a moron that continues to out do himself with stupid basketball acquisitions. He has never heard of the saying "to much of a good thing is a bad thing" because first it was point guards but now he has switched over to power forwards. Kahn and Sterling are on equal levels.

meisi4Participanti think kahn had a good draft but nobody gives him kredit cause he screwed up the last two…
but the starting lineup you posted of i think you had (Love, Williams, Beasley, Wes Johnson, Rubio) is a fantasy basketball or a viedeo game lineup. if that is your starting lineup you will get the record for opponents points! maybe not that bad but your going nowere with that teams defense!

Scottoant93ParticipantTwolves will be lucky to win 25 games next granted they’re is a full season. The problem with the twolves besides Khan, is that they are too young and immature. let me break it down for you
1. They have no coach, as they fired rambis(is he fired or what?)
pg- ricky rubio– could be the next great thing for the twolves, but looks like he has a prima donna attitude. I hope the best but he is expected to be an allstar his first year or people will call for his head(im not in this category) the pressure just intensified by 200% for letting people wait 2 years. so… TBD
sg- Wesley Johnson had a good rookie season, but was older then most of the rookies last year, he still has potential but will the twolves actually develop him.
sf- Michael Beasley- had a good season, should he could score, but still needs to improve defense, also still has about the same play first work later attitude. If saw a video of them practicing, and b-easy was cracking jokes with the rest of his teammates which is fine, but not for the whole fuckin practice. If your a losing team the last thing on your mind is to make a damn youtube series. get to work, maybe the next coach can help him take his game to the next level with defense
pf Kevin Love- Great Rebounder, good scorer, plays hard, but is still a weak defender.
C Darko-gets a lot of heat for being a bust in a strong draft class, i’ll give him the benefit of the doubt since he never got a chance to do anything because honestly every team did shit on him, but i will not ignore that he is a whiny biitch that complains about minutes, refs and throws temper tantrums(world championships years ago, ripping grizz jersey, giving up going to europe, etc) he is not chris webber, but he is a good shot blocker, and a decent passer for a big man, looks stiff on offense.
backups
Anthony Randolph- has all the potential in the world but rumors say he was a poor work ethic, and doesnt give it his all. The run and gun system was a horrible for him not the system but the coaches nelson and dantoni(translation- WTF is defense coaches). Still young, still has potential but again like johnson can the twilves get it out of him.
Martell Webster- I like him, but injury prone, and is inconsistant. Was extremely hyped out of high school, doubt we will ever see it, but he is a decent player
Rookie- Derrick WIlliams- said to be the most nba ready player in the draft, has great potential, call himself a sf, can’t say anything on him yet because he hasn’t played a single nba game. so…..TBD
Conclusion- Twolves have a bad owner, bad gm, no coach, and a bunch of players with talent but with either poor attitude or work ethics(Love might be the exception, Rubio is also TBd). If the Twolves don’t improve this season and dont win a min. of 30-35 games, then khan should be fired, replaced with another gm. In the meantime, they should target a defensive minded coach who also can develop young talent.

tyasayParticipantIf you dont have a winning record then it is not working out… thats why everyone is hard on Kahn because his team does not win

llperezTs, when you say ” peoplemjust want to be hard on him because he drafted a bunch of pg’s but it seems to be working out”, what is your definition of working out? If you can’t win 30 games, I don t think things are ” working out”
