    PG: Ricky Rubio (finally)

    SG: Wes Johnson (hopefully someone taught him how to dribble/drive effectively this summer)

    SF: Michael Beasley (stud)

    PF: Kevin Love (beast)

    C: Anthony Randolph (pros: he’s not milicic… cons: he’s not a center)

    6th man: Derrick Williams 

    7th man: Milicic (dang)

    8: Webster/Ellington/miller/pekovic/ridnour

     

    Personally I’d much rather watch Randolph man center because he’s actually athletic and will give the team another dimension with his explosiveness… dare i say it before the season starts but the wolves look like they’re getting better… at the very least they’re getting the pieces together…

     i would love to see this lineup opening day however i want beasley traded only if williams can prove he is actually a small forward! but i say play this lineup first 25 games and then we can see what we need.. the development of randolph and wes will be key!

    Easily the coolest 2k12 team there will be. Beasley moving up to the 2 and D-Williams playing the 3? Unstoppable, especially with Ellington off the bench. Video games are awesome.

    I think people are vastly underrating Milicic. He isn’t Kwame Brown, he has a defensive impact, is mobile for a big man and passes well. That’s more than can be said for a number of starting Cs in the NBA. Once the rest of the Timberwolves step up, Milicic’s value as a role player will become more apparent.

      I’m with you on this one. Darko simply lacks consistancy. I have season tickets and last year he had a few games where he was absolutely dominant and others that you couldn’t bare to watch. I think what it boils down to is a complete and utter lack of motivation. He is also paid way too much. He was ready to give up on the league and David Kahn and his euro infatuation got involved. We all know what happened from there….

    But by tightening things up on the fastbreak, Spoelstra is significantly reducing opponents’ margin for error. Now other NBA teams have to do more than just hit a lot of 3-pointers to beat the HEAT. They’ll have to figure out a way to stop an offense that can beat you at the rim, beyond the arc and out on the fastbreak.
