Ahkasi ClayParticipantHe dropped out of the Top 3 because of concerns about his attitude,
hopefully it is him just being young, and not knowing how to communicate,
I think the kid has a bright future,
but…….

kicker16ParticipantI didn’t know of any concerns about his attitude but he looked depressed after getting drafted by the pistons.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantAt the start of the season most mocks had him in the lottery..But by January the so-called experts were saying he wasnt even a 1st round pick..Then he went on that great run during the Tournament and his stock soared…Knight is a bit overrated..He’s a highly toutly recruit, but wont be a great nba player..I see alot of Kenny Smith in his game..Kenny Smith was also a highly rated recruit that went to a major program and had a decent but not great college career….He was a solid nba player. But he was never developed pure point guard skills..Nor was he ever among the elite point guards…The only diffference i see between Knight and Smith is that Kenny was a much better athlete…

scoutguruParticipantTo me though, attitude has nothing to do with how good of a student he is. Just cause he may be great at calculus and writing papers doesn’t mean he may not come off a certain way during the course of a conversation or interview with teams or other people. And yeah, I agree with everything you said Rudeboy. During the course of the season when he appeared in mocks around the late lotto to early 20’s at times, I looked at it and thought "ok, thats about right," then I came on the forums and saw there was a lot of puzzled comments at his positioning. I just feel like his game for the next level has a lot of limitations to it when projecting how great he can become. Lacks explosion, ball handling and blow by ability wasn’t at an elite level to me, and getting to and finishing at the rim wasn’t much a part of his arsenal. But he should be a solid player as you noted.

grizz32ParticipantSince when did you have to smile when you get drafted? I mean its not like he its surprised to be drafted so hes not going to be jumping up and down. He felt like he should have gone higher and he was a little ticked but I think it will pay off for him to have a little anger in him.
