The Kings failed why u ask well lets take a look at the roster

    PG- Jimmer, Pooh

    SG-Evans, Thornton, Salmons

    SF-Garica, Casspi, Green

    PF-JT, Jackson

    C- Cousins, Whiteside

I didnt include Sam D cause he’s not staying and now that they have Jimmer, I see them losing Thornton because if was him a nice pay day will come my way and guess what ill try to go to the bulls, nets, or nuggets. I dont seeing this roster working because Evans will come back healthy and will handle the ball 99.9% of the time and Jimmer is too under-sized to guard the 2 position also Evans will be tired from chasing Rose, Westbrook, Wall, Nash, Paul just to name a few. The only reason why they got Jimmer is because they want to keep the Kings in Sac so whats the best way to do that draft Walker or trade of Jimmer? I picked them to get Walker or if they didnt get walker then i wanted them to get Parker but they got either. My homeboy got the inside scoop from a former PF on the kings now in N.O that Paul Westfall and the MaGoofs have no real direction for the team and this draft said it all. I from Sac but im a Mavz fans and i really dont care if they stay or go but i am a Basketball fan soim goin to a dress it. They got Salmons back after he came off a bad year and a new contract but he’s ok, Casspi wants to leave because of the lockout so the kings will try to trade him, Garica is always injured i dont think he had one healthy season since he’s been in the NBA.  Green well well Green i see being like Lewis and he still can without the kings he’s inconsist but only 23. Back to Jimmer the lack of defence, size, and point guard skills it wouldnt work with Evans it would be too much on ur star also if Evans was working on his game this summer instead of in the club but lack of a backbone and nuts from the coaching staff will keep the kings at the bottom of the west.

i think salmons will start at sf and the combination of him and evans on the wings means jimmer wont have to do much ball handling pg duties or have to gaurd the better pg’s much. Basically he just needs to knock down shots. THe front court is young and getting better. Honeycutt and thomas are solid second round picks as well who have a chance to play.

The kings are still in rebuilding mode but i dont think they had a bad off season so far.

As a Kings fan I am somewhat hopeful. I think Jimmer is going to be a pure shooter that Evans can pass to when he drives. He’ll also help aleviate some pressure from DMC with his outside shooting(assuming it translates). Salmons is a pretty good scorer and I think he could start at SF or be a good spark for the second unit. The kings can afford to overpay Thornton honestly. I think they had like 20 million in salary or something like that. Who cares if Casspi wants to leave? We need a good SF for a reason. He is mediocre at best. Honeycutt and Thomas will make the roster and I believe contribute a little this season. The defense thing is overblown in my opinion. I see starting players who play garbage ass defense also yet they are considered good players. All in all I’m excited for this coming season.

i think Honeycutt is a great fit at SF, at the end of the day i think he will be an upgrade over Casspi, Green, he is long, quick, versatile, unselfish, with refining a consistent 3 point shot, getting a little stronger and  focus on defense he would be great match at the 3 spot for the Kings alongside Jimmer, Evans!

    1. I am not sure how they could lose Thornton because he is restricted and the Kings said resigning him (and Dalembert) is their #1 priority this offseason. Dalembert might actually stay as well for a couple of reasons, one being that he loved it in Sac last season, two being that the Kings are the only team willing and able to pay him over a midlevel exception (which might not even still be there for those other teams, Heat / Celtics, due to the new CBA agreement yet to be resolved. Besides, why would getting Jimmer mean Dalembert would want to leave?

    2. I doubt Jimmer will be an awful defender for a couple reasons. One, he will be forced to focus on that part of his game by both the team and his opponents, which should mean he will put in the effort to at least become an average defender. Two, the Kings head brass may make mistakes but they are generally really good at spotting talented players in the draft for where they are picking, so if they were impressed with Jimmers defense during his workout then I trust their judgment.

    3. How the heck would Landry know about what direction Petrie and the Maloofs wanted to go with the team? Do they call him into their meetings and consult him on what their strategy should be? If they were going to do that with any player, he would not be the one…

    4. Garcia’s injuries are not related to each other, some have been just freak accidents, and have shown very little affect on his game except missed playing time. Once he puts together a solid non-injury season people will start to notice that he is a good player and a great leader, as well as deserving of his current contract.

    5. Greene and Casspi should both be traded and are not going to be essential parts of the Kings unless they can start to give more consistent effort, Salmons simply gives them another player they can put at SF if they want to and brings a little experience to this young team, and how the he1l do you know what Tyreke is doing with his game over the summer? Even if he went to a club that really has no effect on how much he will improve.

It does matter if he’s in the club when he should be in the gym jus because u won ROY by defult and i say that because if blake was healthy he would have got it point blake lol doesnt mean ur work is done injurys slowed him down but he still didnt show signs of improvement when he was healthy so i dont wanta hear that it doesnt matter cause it does to a 21 year ago.

Lol well Garcia is a story on its own because i do give it to him for the leadership but for who? the bench if and when he starts he wont be the leader of this team with any real success in the league.

Jimmer is 6′ 3/4 he is there to put butts in seats and he will be a catch n shot type of guy u cant espect them to have success with all of these players that need to play to be effective so if urself i thumbs down

You have officially convinced me that you don’t know anything about the Kings. The Kings have so much cap space that they are really the only ones able to give Dalembert anything above the MLE so why would he pass up the money for a chance at a title, look at what happened to Bibby. Just because the Heat and Knicks want him doesn’t mean they’ll get him.

Honeycutt will probably get plenty of chances to play. I imagine the Kings will trade Casspi and it’s not like Green was impressing anyone when he was on the floor. That leaves Garcia and Salmons so it will still be a little crowded but he has a chance.

Just because Landry played for the Kings doesn’t mean anything. Seriously, dude was a rotational player and is over rated in my opinion. He has no clue what direction the Kings are going. Stop spewing garbage please.

All players need to play to really to be effective. No clue what you’re really talking about there.

Don’t play the "what if" game with Blake and Tyreke because in the end it doesn’t matter. Do you know Tyreke’s schedule? How often he is at the gym? Who cares if he goes to clubs. It’s not like he’s the only one doing it. I’m going to assume that once again you have no clue what you’re talking about.

I actually like what the Kings are doing.

They have a great scoring rotation with Jimmer, Tyreke and Thornton.
I don’t know how many people know but in the 27 or so games Marcus was with the Kings he was their leading scorer with 21.3 ppg.
I may be higher on Thornton than anyone, but trust me that he is one of the best young scorers in the entire league, as it was shown with minutes with the Kings, and I don’t see how he shouldn’t be a starter in the league.

I don’t know how they’ll use this rotation, whether they go small, or bring consistently give them all good minutes with one coming off the bench, but all three of these guys can score, but they can all score in different ways, which will be good for the Kings.

I don’t see Jimmer being a poor defender in teh NBA, as he is quicker than people think, and he has the work ethic to improve it. The Kings also liked his defense, and I feel like he will be able to defend in the pros.

I am going to attempt to translate your opinions out of those three posts, bear with me if I misinterpret.

"oh really mock my words this will not work and the kings will still be bad. Sam D will not stay cause some playoff and title teams want ammm i dont THE MIAMI HEATS and the knicks want him so he’s not staying.”

    • I hope you realize that just because a more popular team wants a player does not mean they will get him, maybe Dalembert would rather stick with more money and a team where he already knows the coaches and management love his play.

“The post wasnt stupid when i talk my crazy ish its correct like when i said the mavz will sweep the lakers and i called mavz in 6 in the finals so lets put it like this im from sac and the kings will never be good if their in sac”

    • Predictions about who will win a playoff series have no bearing on your ability to gauge a teams improvement from multiple states away unless you’re suggesting that your have certain precognitive abilities.

    • What does you being from Sacramento have to do with the Kings being good again?

“plus that back court is flooded they will not be the new 2000-2003 kings”

    • Their main backcourt players are Tyreke, Thornton, and Jimmer. I am not seeing why those players could not all play 30+ minutes a game. Sure they have Salmons and Thomas now, but the Kings do not have an obligation to either of those player to play them significant minutes unless they prove their worth first.

“and with a million wings when will Honeycutt play. He’s a steal i knw but if yall say John is playing the 3 when will Honeycutt? Oh and that funny that u said that someone that played on the kings dont knw what their talkin about did u play on the kings now if it was someone that wasnt a all-star snub 2 seasons ago maybe i wouldnt say anything but the players would knw more then anyone how the coach coachs”

    • I expect now that the Kings have Casspi, Greene, Francisco, Salmons, and Honeycutt they will look to fulfill the Maloof’s promises and be actively looking for trades this offseason. I simply think it is a sign that they are doing what they said they would.

    • How would the fact that you think Landry should have been an all-star with Houston translate to the Maloofs and Petrie letting him know their plans about the future of the team. I think their willingness to include him in decision making was pretty clear when they traded him. Their plans have almost nothing to do with how Paul coaches, its upper management who make the overriding decisions.

“It does matter if he’s in the club when he should be in the gym jus because u won ROY by defult and i say that because if blake was healthy he would have got it point blake lol doesnt mean ur work is done injurys slowed him down but he still didnt show signs of improvement when he was healthy so i dont wanta hear that it doesnt matter cause it does to a 21 year ago.”

    • I am still not sure where you are getting this information that Tyreke lives for clubbing and not sure how the injury of another player, not on his team, affects his progress. I am not understanding why the fact that he is 21 and not 18 or 24 matters either. Of course he did not improve, he was injured. Though he still managed to put up a respectable 18-5-5.

“Lol well Garcia is a story on its own because i do give it to him for the leadership but for who? the bench if and when he starts he wont be the leader of this team with any real success in the league.

    • Garcia did start last season and Paul has stated that he likes him as a starter, I am not sure why not being a top three skilled player on your team means you cant be a strong leader and help them mature. Look at what Divac did in the early 2000’s while surrounded by Webber, Peja, and Bibby.

    • I think Jimmer will thrive being able to get open shots off of Tyreke and Cousins double teams, why would he suddenly not be able to make open jumpers if all he did last year was sink ones while being harassed by the entire other team.

    • I appreciate your thumbs down, but would prefer not to “if” myself.

i really dont care about the thumbs down in this case but i do know that if a good team wants someone its doesnt mean they will get him. So let me ask u this, "Your a 8 year vet and your a avg player but good enough to be a missing piece of a good team would you stay on the Kings?" This man is gettin paid 13million now if the kings give him anything close to that they would be some dang fools because u have DC. I never said that Jimmer wasnt goin to get his. The person that they’ll likely trade would be Greene but for who? The kings can improve all they want but this is the "WEST" my friend and i dont see the playoffs anytime soon.

This man is gettin paid 13million now if the kings give him anything close to that they would be some dang fools because u have DC. I never said that Jimmer wasnt goin to get his. The person that they’ll likely trade would be Greene but for who? The kings can improve all they want but this is the "WEST" my friend and i dont see the playoffs anytime soon.

He compared the situations you douchebag. Divac wasn’t on the top three of his team but he was still a good leader. Same goes for Garcia. Just because he isn’t in the top three of his team doesn’t mean he can’t be a good leader. I really think you need to sharpen your reading comprehension skills.
