Allen_Iverson_3ParticipantI see that kid didn’t get drafted… This is one of the worst decisions he made I think he is on his way to screw a promising career. He should feel lucky if he gets signed by a team as a FA after the Summer League (oh no there’s no Summer League lol!). He is too raw to see enough game time in Europe and I think he’ll probably end up in the D-League where he will have trouble seeing the sunlight. However I’m kinda pissed off that the Lakers took Chukwudiebere Maduabum over him, Julyan Stone or Greg Smith. Same for Tanguy Ngombo or Ater Majok who is now 24. I think teams like that are just selecting these guys to be sure that they’ll never be tempted to throw them on the court lol. But really this is really questionable decision-making, both from the teams and from Jereme Richmond.
What do you guys think?

NCarmean18ParticipantPeople were getting really pissed towards the end of the draft. E’Twaun Moore almost didn’t get drafted, and some guys, Richmond, Greg Smith, Julyan Stone, Scotty Hopson, Demetri McCamey, & Ben Hansbrough all didn’t get drafted, and deserved it over some of these Euro players people haven’t heard of.
As far as Richmond goes, I’d like to see this guy work in the D-League for 3 years. All he has to do is mature, and form a cinsistant jumper, and then he could be a very good player. Oh, he also needs to get a lot bigger as well. He is a good defensive player with a lot of promise, but leaving Illinois may have been his worst decision he has ever made. Hopefully someone gives this kid a chance, he blew it when he left, but he deserves it because of the potential he has.

surveParticipantRichmond and Selby alike had people pushing them I think. They didnt come to college with the right attitude…..the attitudes that we saw from Barnes and Sullinger. Even Perry Jones and Terence Jones realized that they were better served to stay in school. They show the willingness to work and not just be a high pick…which all 4 of them wouldve went in the lottery. Richmond and Selby have to live with their judgements. They mistakingly think that talent alone will get them by. It wont. Hopefully, they wont give up on their dreams and work that much harder for it.
