If you were the GM of one of the lottery teams, who or what would you offer if I was the GM of the Utah Jazz and put the following on the table.

Devin Harris, Al Jefferson, CJ Miles, Okurs expiring contract, Jeremy Evans, the #12 pick of this years draft, Paul Millsap and to a lesser extent the #3 pick if it yeilds a trade with another draft pick of this years class.

I’m looking to move up in this years draft, acquire young talent, but not at the PF position and or acquire future draft picks from teams I think will be in the lottery in 2012.

So if you’re a GM in the lottery do any of those peices or combination of, look enticing enough to swap draft picks/players or trade future picks etc? (I wanted to create this topic so people could have a chance to give their opinion instead of just criticising someone elses trade ideas).

If I’m the Rockets GM I’d offer you Kevin Martin and the 14th pick for Big Al. Coach McHale loved his offensive ability when he had him in Minny, and he could be a great asset for him down in Houston with the uncertainty surrounding Yao. This could also benefit your team as you’d add a top notch scorer at the 2 guard, while also picking up your 3rd lotto pick. This would give you the opportunity to address every need by drafting a big, a PG, and a 3. Some combination of Kanter, Jimmer, & Hamilton or Knight, Donatas, & Hamilton would really round out your team.

    Thoughts?

If I were the jazz, I’d probably dangle Paul Millsap to a team that has a starting shooting gaurd they can spare. The Jazz have a stacked frontline, they need help at the 2.

How would you feel about a Ben Gordon for Paul Millsap deal?

No Ben Gordons contract ruins any team wanting to remain flexible so they can rebuild. I’d be more receptive to the Kevin Martin and 14th pick for Big Al. That way Jazz have 3, 12th and 14th. Biyombo or Moti could be available at 12 and 14, Moti offers no D at this time, but maybe he’s good for 2 blocks a game which is the extent Big Al gives on defense. Big Al is great offensively, but I’d move him for the picks and a solid shooting guard that Jsmoove offered.
