torukParticipantI am not sure if the money works for next season, but it worked in the trade machine and i think they are a pretty good trade for both teams, they are very similar but the second one is a bigger gamble for the clippers.
chris kaman for michael beasley and darko milicic.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3rvmnmu
Why for the wolves:
they have rubio to run the point now, wesley johnson is a good young shooting guard, kevin love is a PF allstar, their weakest position is center by adding kaman they would solve that problem. michael beasley is solid scorer from the small forward position but they have the second pick in the draft that problably will be derrick willians who should be a better player, so by drafting willians and adding kaman they would have a solid starting five, i believe that this would be a good draft day trade and they should pull the trigger if cleveland drafts irving.
why for clippers: small forward is their biggest need and beasley would be a good compliment to blake griffin, kaman became expendable because of the development of de andre jordan who they should resign and darko can be the back-up center.
Kaman for beasley and jonny flynn.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3o7roh8
why for the wolves: rubio will be their starting point guard and flynn had a bad season last year although he still has some potential, they should follow the same plan from the other trade and draft willians.
why for the clippers: as i said it`s a gamble flynn could possibly push mo willians and eric bledsoe for the starting point guard position and could develop as a solid player and beasley would play the small forward, but they still would need a back up center.
thoughts on the best trade, any mistakes of other possible scenarios?

4hff4f427ParticipantThese two trade actually make pretty good sense. Minnesota needs a center, Clippers need a small forward, and I could see DeAndre Jordan being the new starting center with Beasley being the starting 3. Although I’d probably take the first trade over the second, seeing as the Clips have Mo Williams and Eric Bledsoe already at point gaurd. Just my opinion.

joecheck88ParticipantI think Kaman is the kind of player the Twolves could use for a few years but I don’t like beasley on the clippers. I think they need a great defender at their 3 spot.

theEDGEParticipantPlease do not post any Kaman to Wolves trade since Wolves turned down Kaman offer already.

BallinlikeMJ23ParticipantKayman for Beasley is a joke, and to thow another player in there is just stupid and insulting to Beasley.

JustForThoughtParticipantBeasley and Flynnn will remain on the wolves. Flynn 6th man on team will have a solid season 13ppg 6asst.
Beasley is so much better than derrick williams im sick of hearing the comparisons they arent the same player just because both have the same size/body and are combo forwards doesnt mean theere comparable.
Beasley handles have improved imensely since his miami days and his stroke is alot better than derricks. Williams will be solid but he needs to play the 4, david west with freakish athleticism, while beasley is transfroming himself into a true small forward and continues to add to his already elite scoring aresenal

scoutguruParticipantWith this trade though, your basically saying your convinced D-Will is a 3. And thats one thing I disagree with, he is not a 3. And I also don’t think Wes Johnson is a 2 either. He has very limited ball handling ability and I think he’s just a natural 3. So from those two conflicts, I don’t know if that trade is necessarily the best. Although, if we go with your line of thinking, its not all that bad of a deal depending on how the aforementioned develop at those respective positions.
