llperezhere are my top 10 free agents(there’s a few guys im not counting that have team/player options that I fully expect will return to their team):
1-david west. he has a player option for next year at 7.5 million and most players are probably not gonna use this uncertain summer to turn down gauranteed money and play an unstable free agent market. But West i believe will be an exception with 7 mill being well under his market value. Hes a solid 18 and 9 guy who can shoot and is more then just a product of chris paul. Anything less then 10 mill per and just about every team should be lining up for his services.
2-marc gasol. he is restricted meaning the grizz have rights to match any offer. Odds are they will so i doubt Marc will be much of a factor in free agency. But he showed the ability to be an above average starting center and a few teams should try and see if they can overpay and pry huim loose of the grizz who have already committed big contracts to randolph gay and conley.
3-jamal crawford. A true unrestricted free agent who can go wherever he wants. I have a hard time imaging he will give any team a discount thus highest bidder gets a great shooter who can either start or be a difference maker off the bench.
4-rodney stuckey. Similar to Gasol in that he is restricted and i doubt the Pistoons wont match offers so odds are he returns to Detroit. The guy is probably better suited as a sg and plays both ends well flying a little under the radar on some poor Piston squads.
5-tyson chandler. to be honest i dont think chandler should be one of the top 5 coved free agents, but 7 foot defensive centers coming off winning a ring probably will get more attention then others. I kinda doubt anyone values him enough to out bid the free spending mark cuban who will undoubtedly want to keep his championship squad intact.
6-aaron brooks. A dissapointing season last year brings his stock way down. But this guy looked like a border line all-star just 2 years ago and it only takes one team to still believe he has it in him. Another restricted guy the Suns have the right to match offers but i can see someone throwing big money at him and stealing him away.
7-arron afflalo. has improved every season and became more then just a defensive specialist. He now is a legitimate shooter and can occasionally create his own offesne and is still young and improving. Some team might make him their off season target. He is restricted though so nuggets can match.
8-deandre jordan. Also restricted, this guy has basically been a work in progress for a few years and if a team can steal him away from the clippers they will be able to expect a more ready to produce impact 7 footer. This guy has tons of potential and could be a steal
9-carl landry. Another free agent with no strings attached can be had at the best offer. A solid starting pf with offensive skills who has overachieved and works hard. COuld be utilized as a 6th man or above average starter.
10-jason richardson. beat out a few guys who could have gotten this 10th spot. He is a veteran and one of the best kniockdown shooters in the game. Whoever gets him will probably be a win now team looking for another floor spacer and 14-17 points a night from the sg position for another couple seasons. Biggest question mark is has he become too one dimensional at this stage?
others to consider: jj barea, jr smith, kenyon martin, tayshaun prince, thadeus young, nick young, jeff green, andrie kirilenko, grant hill mario chalmers, marcus thornton, shane battier, michael redd, troy murphy

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI believe Wilson Chandler should be in the top 10 as well.
My opinion though.

llperezi forgot to put wilson chandler on my "others to consider". you can defenitely make an argument for him being top 10 over some of those guys. I just leave him out as wing scorers like him and nick young are not that hard to come by.

4hff4f427ParticipantHe’s also gonna turn 39 in October. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see him back for another year but I think he’s gonna hang it up.

MuggsyParticipantGrant still has plenty left in the tank, no reason to retire when he’s playing so well. Sure he’s old but as long as injuries aren’t a problem then why just quit? It’s not unheard of for players to play in their 40’s.

PulseGlazerParticipantI really think the young bigs are the top 3. Gasol, DeAndre and Chandler are just important to sooooo many teams. There are maybe 5 teams in the league that couldn’t use one of them – Orlando, Milkwaulkee, Chicago, LAK, OKC. NJ, Wash, Indiana… umm, is that it? Seriously, everyone else should be in on these guys.
