aamir543ParticipantI see him taking the veterans minimum to take his washed up talents to south beach. He is already used to being booed, adn that at home games. He is still a valuable pickup for anyteam if he is willing to take on a reduced role. 10-13 points a game seems realistic.

I May Be WrongParticipantthe Knicks are going to pursue him. He’s probably like, "Ohhhh defense is an option there? Perfect!" … I can see him fitting with them though as long as he hits his open jumpers.

Scottoant93ParticipantHe will sign with another team, look for a contender
aamir543 be quiet dude, why is he washed up because your a bitter fan of a team he left, he can still contribute for a team, he may not be half man half amazing anymore but what do expect after someone gets older and been through injuries

natedogggParticipantHe will get a run somewhere at a reduced rate and he still has some in the tank. Possibly a good 3rd option on a team.
but it all depends whether he can adjust and accept that role.

cap777ParticipantWhat are your opinions on Vince possibly re-signing with the Nets for a reduced salary?

aamir543Participant@ASDF22, I am sorry, I realized that saying he is wahed up would be innacurate, which is why I edited my post on the other vince carter thread. But yes he not washed up, my bad.

tcc316Participant10-15 PTS PERFECT FOR THE BULLS WHILE THEY GROOM A ROOKIE

khaled_a_dParticipantThat was expected If you look at his contract :
from the 18,921,500 in 2011-12 is partially guaranteed for $4,000,000 if waived before 6/30/11 ,any team would have cut him
He will have a lot of teams looking to add him ,I am sure he is gonna stay in the NBA next year0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/19/2011 - 6:18pm #547384
Csharp3410ParticipantBulls have to go an get him….keep their team in tact an add a 6’7 SG that can score 20pts on any given night…..Bulls need to do this even though they might not want too. I worry about Vince Carters defense but the Bulls are a helping defense anyway…as long as VC does his job, the defense should be alright.

Cardinal_FanParticipantThe bulls would be a great fit for him, I think Vince could still go get 15 points a game and have a few 20 or more games here an there. Also pretty good outside shooting for drive kick passes from Rose. He could open up more driving lines for Rose if he can consistently knock down shots. Bulls, Knicks, Heat, Spurs, i think would be good fits for VC

kaceyParticipantJoin the rest of the old guys in the league and sign with the Mavs.

thaprodigyParticipantVince is going to give the Heat the homestate discount, plus if you just played in Orlando and Phoenix would you want to move to Chicago? Plus he has a lot family in Florida obviously
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/19/2011 - 11:40pm #547470
BigChamp12ParticipantChicago would absolutely be a perfect fit for Vince. He is still a legit scorer in the league. And thats exactly what the Bulls need at the 2 guard. Not sure if he wants to go live in Chicago however. But it shouldnt matter, he’ll be starting for a championship contending team. Either way, I think a lot of teams will be looking to pick him up. Im not sure if he’ll fit in Miami though
