Just been reading some other peoples topics about trades and kinda modified them making them make more sense and trying to make them more equal. So here they are:

    1) Minnesotta trades Flynn, Webster, Pekovic, and 20th for Haywood and Douglass.

    Lineup before draft– Rubio(Ridnour), Ellington(Douglass), Beasley(Johnson), Love(Randolph), Haywood(Milicic).

Minnesotta frees room at point guard and they get some veteran help and a starting center in Haywood.

Dallas trades Haywood for Webster, Pekovic, Balkman, and 20th.

    Lineup before draft– Kidd(Beasubois), Terry(Brewer), Marion(Webster), Nowitzki(Balkman), Chandler(Pekovic).

Not usually necessary to make a trade after winning the championship but Haywood didnt even play in the finals. They get younger with this trade, which is needed on this aging Mavs team. Also, this trade will only work if Chandler is resigned.

New York trades Douglass and Balkman for Flynn.

Lineup before draft: Billups(Flynn), Fields(Walker), Anthony, Stoudemire, Turiaf

Gets a point guard for the future in Flynn who still has potential while getting rid of a pg who cant play point guard and a defensive guy on an offensive minded team. Frees up money for the future too.

    2) Cleveland trades Varejao, Sessions, Harris, and #4 for Lee, Miller, Tolliver, and #2.

    Lineup after draft- Davis(Irving), Lee(Eyanga), Williams(Graham), Jamison(Hickson), Tolliver(Erden)

Cleveland gets the top 2 picks and takes the top two players in the draft. Also frees up room at point guard with trading Sessions. They also get a starting 2 guard in Lee. Lots of potential at every position with this team.

Houston trades Lee, Miller, Williams, and #14 for Pekovic, Sessions, Harris, and #4.

    Lineup after draft- Lowry(Sessions), Martin(Harris), Budinger(Blakely), Scola(Patterson), Kanter(Pekovic)

Houston moves up to get the top center prospect who could become the best player in the draft. They may also have to trade one of their young big men to sweeten the deal (Patterson, Hill, or Thabeet).

Minnesotta trades Pekovic, Tolliver, and #2 for Varejao, Williams, and #14

    Lineup after draft- Rubio(Ridnour), Johnson(Hamilton), Beasley(Webster), Love(Randolph), Varejao(Milicic)

Minny trades down while upgrading their center position and getting a guy with potential in T-Will.

These trades are kind of pointless.

thats the STUPIDEST trade for the Mavs there is absolutely no need for any of those players. Yeah and the reason Haywood didnt play in the finals is because he was injured . And then your lineup for the Mavs isnt even correct ……..you have Terry starting (which he never starts he is a 6th man) then you dont even have Caron who is gonna sighn back with the Mavs . SO basically you just down graded the Mavs bench at every position except pg with that line up you put up there.
