VarnishkisParticipantHow comes Valanciunas quickly got ranked at the 4th when everyone already was giving him 100% to go to Pistons a week ago. The fact the he did 8 interviews on Tuesday afternoon? Or the fact that he promised that the buyout will get sorted – depending on how much the NBA team would like to see him in USA next year?

PulseGlazerParticipantSupposedly, the Cavs are crazy about him and falling out of love with Kanter. Please note – this seems like an awfully bad idea a week away from the draft.

HitsterParticipantApart from when Aran put Kanter at one, the top two have been fairly static with the key being that Cleveland will probably balance 1st and 4th picks so if they took Kanter first they take Knight at 4 and if they take Irving first they take a frontcourter at 4.
A lot depends on workouts and if teams like a player then that player may move up like the Kings with Jimmer and then they work out perhaps a higher rated player who they also like so Jimmer may fall down a bit after the 2nd player effectively justifies their draft position.
I think that 4 of the top 5 are probably set with Irving, Williams at one and two and then Kanter and Knight to both be gone by 5 so then when you get to Washington at 6, a lot may depend if say Valanciunas is already gone for example and each team picking further down will have that decreasing pool of talent but some teams may change their picks so other players fall and teams may adjust accordingly.

VarnishkisParticipantLooks like pretty crazy draft night is waiting for us in a weeks time. Hope that Valanciunas would get selected at 4th start his career there and when Big Zs #11 will be put at the Q arena he then would give permission to Jonas to wear the same number. (#11 is the ultimate number for a big men from Lithuania, thus SABONIS wore #11 the whole career. Watch Jonas and Donatas wearing #11 can bet on that!
