    But he is such a punk. I do not know what exactly he did wrong, and he played a great last three games in the Finals (of course, this is going by his standard, but still was good), but him saying all of the garbage he did, not to mention the Haslem incident in Game 6, what a thug. I think their are a lot of players I would rather have on my team than this guy, that is for sure.

    Isn’t even a big deal to them anymore. It adds to their street cred.

    Remember when Jalen Rose got arrested for DUI? he went to jail, probably paid a fine, got some jokes directed his way, but he still working for ESPN, and still making money.

    But I must say, Stevenson is hella ghetto and thug, every championship team needs a guy like that.

    Other past championship teams with ghetto thugs on the roster:

    Lakers: Ron Artest

    Celtics: Kevin Garnett

    Spurs…maybe not

    Pistons: Rasheed Wallace

    Heat: Gary Payton

    He just hurt his free agent value, which is good for the Mavs.  He hit some really big shots in Game 6 and had some good playoff games.  Plus, I think he pisses LeBron off and gets in his head which is worth a good contract. 

    Championship teams need guys who can hit big shots, buckle down, and play some defense.  Robert Horry and Bruce Bowen each have a lot of rings even though they aren’t the most talented guys ever.

    i wish D steve played a bigger role for the team, like averaged 12+ ppg cuz i’ve always been a fan but hes had a dissapointing career
