I think the New York Knicks should trade Eddy Curry and Malik Rose with his expiring contract, to the Miami Heat, for Shawn Marion. Miami has long had interest in Curry for quite a while now, and Marion is a D’Antoni favorite, so it makes sense, not to the mention the salaries match up. Then, I think the Knicks should trade David Lee to the Portland Trailblazers for point guard, Sergio Rodriguez. Rodriguez is a very underrated player, I liken him to Jayson Williams aka White Chocolate. At 6’3 with yo-yo handle and flashy pin point passes, Sergio would be the best point guard to run D’Antoni’s offense. Nate McMillian hasn’t allowed the spaniard to live up to his potential by restricting his game, by not allowing him to be wild and make flashy plays like he’s accustom to doing. So I definitely see him being a much improved player under D’Antoni’s tutelage. That being said, with these moves, I definitely see the Knicks making it to the playoffs and prephaps getting to the second round.

Your reasons are completely wrong. Miami has been on record saying they have no interest in Curry and with his contract you can see why. Rodriguez has become the backup point guard in Portland and he’s getting plenty of minutes to prove himself. But if it was straight up for David Lee they’d have to do it because it shafts the Knicks something fierce.

D’antoni is a run and gun coach and he has zach randolph and eddy curry as his two big men….jordan hill would be a good pick up in the off season as he is versatile, athletic, and highly motivated. I think that the Knicks should go after ben gordon once his contract expires and try to get a well rounded point guard who can truly command the floor. As the season moves on the more and more i think that the knicks should have picked up dj augustine, they drafted a small forward and already had one with more talent and equal long term potential in wilson chandler. D’antoni and augustine would have been a great match, if the knicks could come out of this off season with a solid point guard, better floor runners in their front court and a couple shooters, then theyll be in good shape (and hell will have frozen over and pigs will be flying).

He is completely lost on D (lack of desire can do that) and he never averaged 10 rebounds. Yes he is averaging 21 and 8 but if he doesn’t get his touches, he don’t contribute at all.

n thats good he has a high iq

oh yea im writing like this again let me stop before these grown men get on the internet and cry about how i type the same grown men who send me personal emails complaining bout the way i type even cussin me out its to much pussy and money out here to be doing that dont we agree

but getting back to basketball I think marion and david lee become free agents this year so i dont see the knicks trading him unless for a sign and trade and bayless is portlands future point gaurd supposedly so where does sergio fit if blake goes to the bench oh and to tell the truth i honestley dont think bayless will be in portland long they will try to hold on to him but he wont be there long
1 of portland pgs have to go earky this season sergio was fussing about minutes and best believe the talented bayless will do the same

Sergio Rodriguez? No way is he the best fit for the Knicks. You can go grab Tyreke Evans in the draft or a much more proven pg in FA. I don’t think anyone would want Curry either.

see where they select in the draft, try to get jennings or rubio, sign rasheed wallace, sign and trade nate to the kings for garcia, s and trade lee to memphis for gay.

    jennings or rubio
chandler(they might move him to the 2)(garcia)
    gay(garcia)
gallinari (depending on how he comes back.chandler can play the 4 as well,)
    wallace.
